I already decided to buy all consoles, but if I hear one more wanker saying some silly joke about how PS4 is so much better, when we've see a controller and a specs sheet, I swear I'm going to cancel my pre-order. Reply-1
@darc: Well, I skimmed through the thread abou the Infinity rumour, and everyone who liked got "negged" and ooh-rah when some juv3nile joke bashing it came out, so, I believed it wouldn't matter. Honesty. Reply0
Can someone honestly answer me something: why people, probably honest young men who actually like Xbox are so badly treated / bullied ? What's wrong in liking something you don't ? Reply-8
It seems Xbox will be more used here at home, consoles nor tvs are allowed in bedrooms in this fascist kingdom of mine, and new PS seems to be aimed more at teenagers, Xbox seems more family oriented and less "hardcore" - we don't do that here either. Reply0
@Suarez07: Thanks, but I don0t really care, just want my PC games to continue to run. Will buy both consoles anyway. You just live once and I'm getting old. Reply+2
@Jmog~: we're obviously talking about nothing concrete here, but anyway, I still don't get it, how come I manage to run game which were made in the 90's on my PC, they couldn't possibly know what kind of memory my PC would have in 2013. I could understand that if it didn't use an API - like MS machine will use, that's a given - to handle everything media related, but as it is it's hard to understand how a game/program developed to use a slower kind of memory wouldn't run. @Geordiemp: That's not what I said, I said how come a game developed for ddr2 wont work in a machine with ddr5 and will cost million to recode everything. My
PC can run games older games. But, it's not actually important. Reply0
@minimur12: Well, he has some credibility because he writes about MS for 15 years and has several published books about all things MS. But, I'm no fan of rumours as, but he is different, he's defiantly not a kid (albeit being just a bit older than me, he must be like 40-something). Reply0
@grassyknoll: I'm no developer, and to be honest I couldn't care less abour GDR5 or DDR2, but, how come with PC it doesn't matter ? Aren't these boxes PC's, and Xbox even more "compatible" with its DirectX and stuff so much like Windows ? Why wouldn't games work if it had a faster RAM/hard drive/NIC... Reply0
@SaintDaveUK: what does MS or Sony get for being always online ? I always thought the motto "always on" (with MS having now that 3 screens project with the phones and pads, and putting Xbox brand on everything) was an advertisement thing, then this conspiracy theory came, but I still don't get what's in for the hardware vendors. And SW houses don't need the systems to enforce always on to do it, they've been doing it for years. Reply+1
Now we reached the psychological/esoteric realm. Who cares what was thought or not ?! Seriously, trying too hard to look good, or give any credit to internet never ending rumours. TBH, I cant even remember last time my internet connection dropped in my place, in the last 10 years, so personally I don't even care, either way, but I understand people in the countryside worrying about the actual product, not so much about what a guy thought when he was taking a dump or something. EA's right no one will say: "I'm not buying that AK47 for my kid this xmas it looks so lame..." or "oooh, so getting that C130 for wife this Valentines". Its a whole different plane. Reply+1
There's unlimited supply
And there is no reason why
I tell you it was all a frame
They only did it 'cos of fame
Who?
That was innapropriate, but so is Sid Vicious. Anyhow, ShopTo is known for delivering games before release date, in fact I know kids who use it because they do break street date - they even say it if you mail them, so... cry me a river. Reply0
@ATARI: IT's always "th3 biaz" when it doesn't say PS3 is oh ao amazing and rules them all. I've been told "oh, stupidity is among every brand fanboys", but not fool yourselfs, SDF is the most annoying, and either thinks they're smarter or play the victim. Reply-4
