  I don't actually watch TV, so this thing is looking thoroughly unimpressive at the moment. My internet connection goes down a fair bit too. Sorry MS but you really need to research a little further than the major cities of the USA.
  
  The PS4 really does look like the better choice right now, especially as the exclusives for Sony are always better IMO. Reply +16

  I am saying that actually what the cop said was ok for once. He said that the kid should not have been playing that game, which, by law, he shouldn't have been.
  
  He could well have said "the game made him do this!", which he didn't, and which sounds like the conclusion you are jumping to. So, you patronising ****, maybe you should 'learn' to read and 'understand' before hurling personal insults to a fellow commenter.

  The headline should read: "Cop blames under-age gaming". He is not blaming online gaming at fucking all. He is saying the kid should not be playing an 18 rated game if he is under 18, which for once is actually very sensible comment from a non gaming person of power. And you go and make him look like a bell end..congratulations on crap reporting.

  Honestly Ubisoft, I have been pretty pissed off with your unbelievable quarrying of the AC licence recently....BUT...you deserve a massive pat on the back for this one.   Bioshock, just like the previous versions, I am finding quite simple and repetitive. I truly struggle to see why people find it to be a 10/10 experience. TR is a far superior game in every respect IMHO. Reply +3

  You still have a long wait for the next gen. Besides, I get the reasons, it was more of a spurring pep talk. I am trying to tell you this is the best game I've played in a while and I think you should give it a try.
  
  I guess the price point is something I don't think about as I play on PC, so I pre-ordered TR for £21. Worth every penny.
  
  It's the first game that I actually find myself walking through areas instead of running...the animation and acting is so lifelike that it compels me to treat it almost as if I were directing a movie. Hard to describe, and the first time I have ever felt this with a game. Reply +1

  PEOPLE, PLEASE GO BUY THIS GAME. It's fantastic, and the devs deserve the praise they have received.
  
  It would be a huge shame if they change tact, thinking they have done something wrong this round (but it's the freshest take on the genre in a while).
  
  There are so many people in my office that have heard how great it is from multiple sources but for some reason are holding off without giving any real reason. Weird. Reply +21

  Publishers are slaves to market predictions and evaluations. I am talking about mulit-million AAA titles here, not smaller indie devs etc.
  
  Big money, means big business. Big business means market predictions and other such soulless corporate abstractions.

  I can assure you, the fact that I love playing as a female character has absolutely no correlation with the panty girdles and corset I wear at the weekends.
  
  Seriously though, he talks about the 'industry' when actually none of us dislike a diversity of protagonist. It is down to the marketing department (who have the final say on whether a project gets greenlit) and what those men-in-suites 'think' we want, and/or will buy.
  
  I loved playing as Lara when the very first Tomb Raider came out on PS1, and have enjoyed playing anything other than a rugged, dark-haired, white man from planet Hollywood, at any possible opportunity since then.
