reality is nintendo has exited the console race, they are now focusing on the handheld market, and trying to keep the small console user base while there at it. Reply +3

finally thank god, we don't have to here that idiot z0m3le on neogaf anymore, the guys is delusional, he rather believe some some unverified test, then dev docs from nintedo and, multiple reliable source in the industry like eurogamer, and i's connections. Reply -3

@aguaporf it's 720p and actually looks sub hd cause if the low resolution effects Reply -6
  • Digital Foundry vs Xenoblade Chronicles X

  • shinku 08/12/2015

The main impressive thing for DF was it was a open world running at a very solid 30fps on 360/ps3 level hardware while looking good, but he failed to mention that those other games do so much more graphically, from better AA, dynamic shadows, more dynamic lighting, and all the other stuff you mentioned so no it really isn't a technical master class. • shinku 08/12/2015

@timeless001 the actually looks better in a compressed 1080 video then on a regular 1080p tv, due the lack of descent AA at 720p, and the few pro reviews that mention it's a technical master class's don't really go into detail, they don't mention it's flaws or positive's, they probably see huge scale running at solid 30fps and nice article and think it's impressice. • shinku 03/12/2015

@timeless001 day and and night cycle, are not real time in Xenoblade , even shadows are static, come on red dead and gtav are on another level technically, it's just the guy who wrote the article is very sensitive to framerate that's the main reason he finds it impressive Reply 0
  • shinku 02/12/2015

@Needs_More_Tang you must already stupid, project cars is designed to run on pc, it's more advanced then X graphically, which is made to wiiu strengths, x has a many short comings , weak AA. Massive pop in, no dynamic shadows, has a ton of low resolution textures and effects, red dead and gtav are way more impressive. Reply -4
  • shinku 02/12/2015

Oh I agree, even red dead redemption on 360 shits on it graphically. Reply -2
  • shinku 02/12/2015

Red dead redemption and gtav look much better then X. they have better AA, textures, character models, dynamic day and night cycle with dynamic shadows, better animation and effecta. Reply -1

  • Face-Off: Bayonetta on Wii U

  • shinku 30/09/2014

@dejanu79 face it, Wiiu is old and more or less obsolete hardware, i still get better graphics on my 360 and way better versions of multiplaform games. Reply -4
  • shinku 27/09/2014

if they ported this on 360 today it would run 60 fps locked with better graphics. the only reason this has a slight advantage is because its a 5 year old 360 game. Reply -7
  • shinku 27/09/2014

this game has less enemies then the 360 version, DF fucked up. Reply +3
  • Digital Foundry: Hands-on with Bayonetta 2

  • shinku 15/09/2014

@smelly lol the game aways looked like sh!t to me, and now it's not even a solid 60 fps which I find laughable considering gow3 looks next generation compared to baynetta 2. Reply -2
  • shinku 15/09/2014

Damn Nintendo u managed to make a next generation console weaker then a last gen console again. Reply -11

  • shinku 31/05/2014

@null the wiiu has been confirmed to only have 176 gflops by neogaf, as for mad studios, the real reason is they wanted to make it for nextgen consoles, thats because of how powerful the wiiu is, because its already been confirmed to be 720p at 30 fps. Reply 0

developers comments on wiiu's weak hardware Reply -1
  • shinku 30/05/2014

@MechaMew2 what games on wiiu are 1080p/60fps? lazy devs a typical excuse for a nintendo fanboy, i have seen the digitail foundry comparsion for need for speed, its has slightly better textures, and came out a 6 months later, its a very small upgrade, but every othere multiplatform game runs worse on wiiu, its not a rare, it's happens most of the time, the wiiu has some advantges to 360/ps3 and disadvantges, over all its a crappy weak 176 gflops machine. Reply -1
  • shinku 29/05/2014

@MechaMew2 you have many devs stating that the wiiu is on par or less powerful then 360/ps3. 90% ports are inferior on wiiu, and that's a fact. as for slightly mad studios we haven't seen the wiiu version, yet so i can't comment on it, till we have direct feed pics or gameplay footage of the wiiu verion i can't comment on it. the wiiu has been out for 18 months ports continue to be inferior to last gen consoles and graphics are not impressive at, come on, 720p with no AA. thats not impressive even by last gen standards. • shinku 28/05/2014

@MechaMew2 proven what?, god of war 3, uncharted 3, halo 4, GT5 and forza horizon are far better looking then anything on wiiu. Reply -1
  • shinku 27/05/2014

@avluis yea lets praise Nintendo for releasing a console that can't even do better graphics then 7 year old console's. Reply 0
  • shinku 24/05/2014

@VanillaLake the wiiu has only 176 gflops, its a pretty damn weak console. Reply +4
  • shinku 24/05/2014

Is the wiiu even more powerful then the ps3/360. GT5 and wipe out both run at 1080p/60fps with AA, more detail and better graphics, the wiiu hardware makes me sad. Reply +2
  • Next-Gen Face-Off: Assassin's Creed 4

  • shinku 15/12/2013

@Acesonnall Need for speed uses some pc textues, it also had extra dev tiime on wiiu, it wasn't rushed to meet the holiday dead line, it also ran slightly better, just barely, while most 360/ps3 games on wiiu run like crap and look worse. Reply +1
  • shinku 07/12/2013

wiiu a piece of crap confirmed again. Reply -4
  • Digital Foundry vs. Super Mario 3D World

  • shinku 08/12/2013

@Element187 lol you have no idea what you're talking about, wiiu actually has fewer shaders then 360 and less bandwidth, and a weaker cpu, thats why you see wiiu ports choking of current gen games. Reply 0
  • shinku 07/12/2013

@globalisateur 100% agree, call of duty ghosts on 360 is far more impressive technically. Reply 0
  • shinku 07/12/2013

@Deionarra LOL shinen is just a PR mouth for nintendo, you have dark siders dev and black forest games say wiiu is on par with current gen, then you have DF faceoffs where almost every wiiu multiplatform game is 6-10 fps behind. Reply -14
  • shinku 07/12/2013

i feel like DF did this analysis because they felt sorry for the wiiu, i like how he keeps saying considering the hardware, it looks good, the game runs 60 fps cause its not technically demanding, sonic generations looks so much better but it does run 30 fps, but it easily looks 3x better then this Reply -9
  • shinku 07/12/2013

@Pandy try harder dude, both xbone/ps4 are a huge leap compared to 360/ps3, while wiiu so far has been a step back from 360/ps3, current gen games on wiiu run like shit Reply -52
  • shinku 07/12/2013

they could have made this game on 360/ps3 and would have probably looked better. Reply -67
  • Face-Off: Batman: Arkham Origins

  • shinku 17/11/2013

@Eurogameruser due ex is not superior it has horrible frame rate compared to 360/ps3 versions, and need for speed is better on wiiu by a very small margin while most multplatform on wiiu are worst by significant margin. you can post pics of both derect feed pics of both 360/wiiu versions of need for speed and the diffidence is very hard to see. • shinku 17/11/2013

@Incarcero lol better then believing nintendo fanboys, yea i trust neogaf/beyond3d and looking at the mulitpaltform games faceoff it just confirms that its true. Reply +2
  • shinku 17/11/2013

@Carter0108 the gpu is confirmed to have 160 alu, its about on par cause of its more modern features, it has double the ram,it has a worst cpu based on multiplatform games alone, it can not greatly out perform, nothing show so far ha suggested that. Reply +3
  • shinku 17/11/2013

@Carter0108 the wiiu is not more powerful then current gen, go look at the specs thread on neogaf, its on par, doing some things better and some worst. Reply -2
  • shinku 17/11/2013

@oniishida wait for the DF faceoff i bet you the wiiu version will be the worst, and as for the console its a piece of crap, just look at the faceoffs on DF almost every single port is inferior, its can't even out class 8 year old consoles. Reply -4
  • shinku 17/11/2013

when will these Nintendo idiots except Nintendo screwed them over again with crappy hardware, amost every single port is inferior on wiiu, its not the developers you idiots its the crappy hardware. Reply -11

  • shinku 30/03/2013

why does the 360 version look better in the pics then the wiiu version, anyway this proves wiiu is on par with current gen a enhanced port which the developer pushed the hardware with 6 extra months, hardly looks better. Reply -5
  • Face-Off: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

  • shinku 19/02/2013

@frazzl i agree with you, i'm going ps4 nextgen cause it's suppose to be more powerful but this is clrealy a 360 win, if what he says is true and looking at the vids, it sure looks like it. Reply +2
  • shinku 19/02/2013

@Bloodios if what you say is true, which i doubt, he should update his face off, because that will a huge deciding factor for many people Reply -1
  • shinku 19/02/2013

@Bloodios exactly what i meant he says often 10fps advanatge and calls them a tie, which doesn't make any sense Reply -5
  • shinku 19/02/2013

@GamesConnoisseur smoother gameplay anyday of the week for me. Reply -2
  • shinku 19/02/2013

@Bloodios I read and watched the vids, there verdict talks about the whole game having a 10 fps advantage.

"In the final call, both versions of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are well worth considering, with each fronting unique advantages. Call it a tie overall: the performance nod goes to the 360 rendition of the game, often running with a 10FPS lead, while image quality purists are strongly advised to seek out the crisper PS3 version."
