Face-Off: Tomb Raider
Not to mention the supporting cast in TR were nothing other than extended plot devices with little character to them. Obviously the main stand-out for me was Lara whose development was exceptionally well done even if her interactions with the other characters felt artificial. The writing is also superfluous and nowhere near as sharp or as concise compared to U2. Can't blame them though, Amy Henning was writing for that series.
I still think both have room to improve. Reply +5
Its WAY more action packed than Tomb Raider and its puzzles are a fricking joke. It would be insulting to call them puzzles. Whereas Tomb Raider has been (and still is) for a long time, about exploration and has featured puzzles that require players to think whereas the action has often taken a backseat. In this iteration is has certainly changed things up yet it still differs a fair bit from the way I see it. Each to their own. Reply +5
Think of it like this, one is similar to Indiana Jones and the other borrows inspiration from The Descent, both films with vastly contrasting tones. Reply +1
Comparing Tomb Raider with Uncharted is comparing apples to oranges. One focuses solely on cinematic quality and subtle, more well-developed character interactions whereas the other one is more open-ended both gameplay and structure wise whilst featuring a more personal story. Reply -17

With God of War finished on PS3, Sony Santa Monica dares to dream about PS4
Again, I'm not having a rip at gears of war but claiming multiplayer to god of war isn't a big deal whilst the inclusion of an asymmetric multiplayer is another pot-hole in your argument. In fact, there's several. Reply +5
The fact that you've just dismissed the multiplayer as a tacked-on feature rather than a key selling point that the devs touted, speaks volumes about your knowledge or personal experience with the game.
Hell the multiplayer alone is far more innovative than any of the recent halo games these days which goes to show the fallacy in your reasoning. If there's any stagnation to level at, level it at the games that have played it safe you moron. Reply +9
