"The big IPs are becoming bigger...whether that's FIFA, Call Of Duty or Assassin's Creed, those titles are just becoming bigger and bigger and it's harder and harder to break into the market with new IP."
If you make good new IP then it surely isn't that hard. Assassin's Creed isn't that old, but they made a really good game (well maybe not the original) and it sold well. If they create a new IP and actually make it a good game, then it'll sell.
Call of Duty wasn't always the "highest grossing entertainment launch of all time". It took them to release Call of Duty 4 before the franchise became as big as it is. Reply+15
@RawNinjaKid Pretentious? Are you sure you actually played the game???
Anyway, Journey is definitely one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had playing games. The feeling of loss you experience when you lose a companion you've met along the way is like nothing I've ever experienced in a game before.
It definitely isn't the longest game ever but its definitely worth the asking price. Brilliant, brilliant game. Reply+5
The funny thing is, when Black Ops was released and you could sign in on 2 separate gamertags to play online on the 360, Treyarch claimed it wasn't possible to develop the same feature for the PS3 version. Now Capcom are claimimg the exact opposite is true. Its utter bollox, same as Treyarch's excuse was. Reply+6
