Still cant decide whether to order a devkit and have it by August, or just wait for retail (which could be end of 2014). The $300 price point on the devkit is very tempting :/ Reply+1
Museum and Thunder.... great memories!! I haven't played CS in a long time but I'm going to give this ago, see what the re-visioned classic maps look like. Reply0
Though I am completely bored to death with the same old FPS shite churned out, this still makes me incredibly excited for what more creative devs will be able to do on nextgen. Reply-1
God I am so excited... love the idea of parallel lives and worlds and feel sure they'll entwine somehow. The art style is gorgeous! Counting down the days to this one. Reply+2
As a non-3DS owner I wish Ninty would consider bring this onto the Wii U, I really think it could work amazingly well. Though I can understand that it is a colossal 3DS exclusive that they would want to keep that way. Very happy for them that it's getting solid reviews. Reply+4
I'm glad I got my Premium for £169, I wouldn't have ever spent the £270 or whatever they were asking for. At the moment, the only use it gets is a quick blast on Sonic racing, a multi-platform game I could just have easily have got on the 360. Desperately waiting for Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Rayman, Mario, Mario Kart and Zelda, I know I will love those games, but I do agree that Nintendo have once again managed to screw up a new console release. Just hope the big 1st party titles arrive and stretch the life out to see a decent catalogue of games come the end of the consoles life (even if most are 1st party). Reply-1
He used to be an off-spinner for Selsey Cricket Club in West Sussex, then when he was too old to play he'd come to the home games and do the scoring. There are loads of old team photos in their club house with him in them :) I played against Selsey once many years ago when he was scoring when I was about 14 or 15, surreal moment sat next to the Gamesmaster doing the scoring for our match!! Really nice guy, talked to me about his off-spin, had a funny chat about Gamesmaster. True legend, very sad to hear of his passing. Reply+4
Plenty of reports of people who got NintendoLand in their bundle still getting the download code. Then they've told Amazon they aren't happy with a download as it has no resale value, so Amazon are sending out a copy of the game for free. So said people end up with 2 x NintendoLands, which are fetching £30 a pop on eBay. So if you're happy with a downloaded copy, you're £60 up. If you got the Amazon 32GB Premium £199.99 deal, you're laughing! Nudge nudge wink wink. Reply+8
I moved from a HTC One S to the Nexus 4 and, I've got to say, it hammers the One S in practically every aspect for me. The only area the One S is equal / slightly better is the camera, but the one on the N4 is more than acceptable. I sold my One S for £175 and got the N4 for £240, and couldn't happier with the outcome. I'd recommend it to anyone over the current HTC range at least. Reply+8
@romelpotter Some of the best guitarists ever to grace this planet couldn't give a flying fuck about "music theory". If this game makes some young kids want to pick up a guitar and bash out some tunes, then what's the problem? I couldn't think of a more pretentious opinion than the one you've just posted. Believe it or not, not every teenager wants to be a jobbing guitarist playing in local pubs and clubs. Reply+9
I moved from CS to BF1942 back in 2002 on release, and it was practically all I played for about 2 years solid. Just the best fun and most fondest memories I've ever had with online gaming, it's a cliche but they really don't make them like they used to. Reply+2
@pinchofsalt that would have been funny if they had actually started a Kickstarter without a plan and asked for lots money. As it is, you just look like a grade A tit. Reply+8
As boring as it sounds, I'm really just waiting for a new 3D Mario (SMG or other), Zelda and Mario Kart. It's so shallow, but that's how it is, that's all I want from Nintendo in my old age. With every Nintendo console, I see any other decent titles over those 3 as a bonus... but that launch line-up doesn't inspire me. Another zombie shooter to add to the ever growing list in recent years? That's not what Nintendo consoles are about, I'd rather just play that kind of game on my PC with mouse + kb. That Project P-100 game looked great but there's no sign of it, which is a big shame. Same goes for Pikmin 3, another game that might have tempted me. Rayman looks good, but it's not sucking me in. I think it's such a shame that Nintendo didn't line up a real blockbuster to launch with.
I've bought the last 3 Nintendo consoles on launch day, but I'm hanging back on this one, potentially for quite a while. Reply0
I'm still rocking an old Q6600 with an 8800gts. Can anyone tell me if it's worth just upgrading the 8800gts to something like this, or is my Q6600 going to bottle-neck? If so, what kind of card is the max I should go which won't be nerfed by the Q6600? Reply+6
