The case for building or buying your own PC for gaming has never been stronger and i have never used my PC for gaming before. Strictly consoles Reply+4
I just started playing Dark Arisen and i was nervy when i realised the game only lets you have 1 save slot, going to back up my save straight away. BTW i already had 2 x 2MB updates since last Friday, no idea what they were for. Reply+1
Seems like im a lucky sod. Had this on the play list for ages but needed to complete a few games 1st. Went to buy Dragons Dogma on Sat and the game store was shut down. Now i get the original and more even cheaper, shit like this never happens to me. Epic Reply+6
Im scared that they want 6 million sales for Dark Souls 2 and will can it otherwise! Or maybe ive been reading to many EA, Square Enix articles. Reply+2
@andrewsqual I believe what my eyes see and all new releases are now €54.99 or €59.99 and new release pre owned are a ridiculous €47.99. They were €5 to €10 cheaper than that depending on the game Reply+1
The more competition online or on the high street the better. Since Game and HMV closed all their stores in Ireland, Gamestop jacked up all their prices by €5 to €10, knowing customers had few other alternatives. Reply+14
I think the developers and manufacturers can and will win this battle. All they need is sensible pricing, a reliable service, cut out always on for games you have already downloaded and they will win over most people. I have had to already change my 2nd hand games buying habits because of the online pass nonsense. I have often wondered if trade ins and 2nd hand game sales have contributed to the inflation of new games prices, in that the developer/publisher need to get more out of the initial sale because of trade ins, which in turn inflates the price of a 2nd hand game. Will be very interesting to see how AMD and Nvidia respond to this with Ubuntu/Linux drivers, especially Nvidia when they have designs of their own for a gaming device. Reply+4
I got the lost expeditions edition, i didnt even know they were on the game to be honest. And they are woeful, one timed run through Jap tunnels with enemies and another weird tunnel crawl with a few snakes, dogs and a bear. Very odd add ons Reply+2
Yeah it does feel like the viewing numbers couldn't be that low. Even random casual hits would bump them up. Hope they keep going and don't get disillusioned Reply-1
The guy from Gearbox stated the other day "the thing about the Wii is that only Nintendo made money from it" Id imagine after a few titles flop all developers and publishers will run from Wii U. The only decision left to us gamers is how much is playing a new Zelda or Mario worth? Not €400 inc games thats for sure. Reply+2
Speaking to most of my mates we all are thinking the same thing, love to get one but just not worth the risk with the price and the fact we are all broke! Reply+2
Bought it as my 1st season pass ever last night and delighted i did. Oasis looks amazing and Shade is by far my favourite character in the game! Reply+1
Borderlands paid for itself and then some, i played it on and off for a year, and the DLC was class. So this is one of the few games ive ever pre ordered, i dont feel like i will be ripped off or disappointed Reply+1
