@superdelphinus: True true. Before i got the BMIS, i had the Hauppauge HD PVR. So many issues with it, and Arcsoft (who make the software it comes bundled with) were totally unhelpful. If i had known about the Game Capture HD at the time, i might have gone for that instead. Reply0
For that money, just get a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle. Sure the BMIS needs USB 3.0 and a compatible mobo, but i've been very happy with it. Can capture HD via either HDMi or Component cables, aswell as SD via Composite.
