Makes sense all up until the final conclusion - the reason that second hand is less appealing than new in physical media is that you're buying a product that isn't in physically as good condition. It's also more of a gamble whether it will work. How would you ever get this distinction with digital distribution? If you had a choice between new and second hand with a digitally distributed game, nobody in their right mind would buy new.
Maybe a system could work where you simply sold back to the publisher, but I can't envisage a workable system where you were selling on to end users. Reply0
