  FWIW i played WoW for a long period of time when it first came out. We are talking long enough to level 1.5 level 60 characters.
  
  I also played StarWowTOR at the Expo for 10 minutes and watched other players play a lot.
  
  My personal impression is that the game mechanics and how you play the game are very very similar to WoW. Throw in some cut scenes and interactivity.
  
  What is sad, is that developers of recent MMORPGs (Rift, LoTRO, SWOTR) seem to think that there is no way to have any other game mechanic if you want to compete with WoW.
  
  Maybe that says more about people not wanting to try anything new perhaps... Reply +1

  Will that change this time? Bearing in mind the pace of innovation and reinvention in sports games, it may be too much to achieve in one step. But Konami's attitude bodes well for the future.

  Problem now is that a season of FM09 takes me about 2 weeks to play! And thats w ithout having any other games on the go... Back in the day you could play a whole season in an evening, i almost think that they need to go back to this.
  
  the FMH10 looks a little dissapointing - exactly the same game as last year which was the same game as the year before which was the same game as the year before that.
  
  having said that, yeah i'll probably buy the PSP version at least.

  Disagree with this article.... I've got an expensive self-built desktop that i use for the latest games, but for browsing on the sofa / away from home, my netbook (asus n10j) is quality.
  
  Its got all my music on there, a couple of weeks worth of videos, and some decent games - FM09, Civ4, WoW, Monkey Island SE - all playable thanks to the nvidia card.
  
  i'm perfectly happy touchtyping with the keyboard, and supplemented the whole thing with a 20 quid logitech wireless nano mouse.
  
  honestly i dont see what the problem is, it doesnt even seem cheaply built to me? Reply +12
