But you had fair warning m8. I still own SC3K and SimCity Deluxe. My commonsense told me that the new SimCity was a step down from what I currently own.
So I don't understand how someone can say they had no idea how the current game could turn out to be such a mess? Previews and impressions along with feedback should have raised Red Flags. ;) Reply+1
This is what happens when you award bad behavior by the developer and go against your own commonsense that you should not buy this game. Punters should have said NO at "always on". Live and learn. I'm glad I said NO to this game along with Anno 2070 and Diablo III and will continue to do so. And if Microsoft is stupid enough to go down the road of ALWAYS ON, then i'll put them on my BAN LIST as well. ;) Reply+7
I seriously think I'm going to pass on the entire next gen and go back to PC gaming. I always play offline and have no desire to be required to BE online at all times. Where I live the internet gets spotty when it rains.
And Microsoft, I said FU to Blizzard and UBISOFT, so as much as I wanted to play Diablo III and Anno 2070, it was a NO sale for me. ;) Reply+2
@blaisekinyua
I tried the Google Play version and it is better mate. Download the game Grudger on Amazon's App Store. That has a pretty good platforming control scheme.
Overall your game is fun but as the difficulty ramps up I can see the frustration level increase. Keep at it, you guys have a future making games ! :) Reply+2
UOG, I just tried the free version on Amazon. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. Simple, mindless games are my favorite. :)
Here's my constructive criticism. Remove the virtual joystick on the screen and overlay it over the character. My natural reaction is to swipe on the character to get him to move and jump even when I realize the virtual stick on the screen.
I do like your game and will spend the $1 to show my support for you guys. Bravo to you and your team. 8) Reply0
I voted with my wallet like I did with Diablo III so fuck off and EA. You can keep your game. Let me know when I can play offline and create cities the size of SimCity 3K or SC4. ;) Reply+2
I had HUGE interest in this game since I still own both SC 3000 and SC4 Deluxe. Once I read about the Diablo III disaster and learning about a similar DRM, I voted with my wallet and said fuck off.
I want no part of this game or any game that punishes the purchaser of the game. As someone else said you are paying money to rent this game, because when EA turns off it's servers there goes your online only game. Reply+14
Next gen is already looking to be a disappointment. Same old tired games with half-arsed AI just in a prettier package. Oh and memo to all. Having played KZ2 and KZ3 bored me to tears. Reply-7
@FladgeMangle Don't lump Sony's masterful fuck up of the Vita to this device. Remember the Vita was priced at a premium for a handheld device with non-upgradable parts. Games are also sold at a premium price.
You can buy .99c android games and sometimes you can buy them for 25c when Google has their sales. All of your android games are tied to your account and not any of your devices.
These are some of the reasons why the Vita BOMBED and I own 2 Vita's. And the last reason the Vita failed is because Sony dismissed the android and iOS platforms as if they did not exist. ;) Reply-7
I bit on the White PS Vita Assassins Creed III Bundle. Amazon had it on sale for $180 and it came with ACIII, All-Star Brawl, and 3 free months of PSN+. I had no desire to buy another Vita but I couldn't resist this deal. Reply+5
Looking forward to a customized OS. If Sony doesn't give a shit about the Vita at least we can play some decent HB games.
And remember before you twats pull the down vote lever. It was the HB community that pushed Sony to allow the original PSP to install a game to the memory stick.
And yeah I agree with a previous poster that at least this should boost sales. :) Reply-2
I've wanted to buy Anno 2070 but was put off by the obtrusive DRM. I recently purchased Anno 1404 Gold when they removed the DRM as well. Now waiting for the Anno 2070 Gold edition. Reply0
See if you're going to infringe on someone's intellectual property, that's how you do it. Why not go all out and piss off as many companies as you can. Reply+13

Ubisoft ditches controversial always-on DRM for PC games
Yes they will. They did that with Anno 1404 so there's no reason why they won't with Anno 2070. Reply 0
