anthonypappa, you do understand the meaning of the word 'option' right?
You can turn it off and play it as you think it should be played. If other people want a less challenging experience, then it's up to them. Is that so difficult to understand? Reply+1
I think they need to add a little more detail to the character models. For tiny, tabletop figures the amount of detail is fine but not on a full size TV or monitor. The guns especially don't look great after being upscaled. Reply0
Absolutely love this game. The single player is probably the best I have played this generation because of the sponsorship deals and hiring team mates. All simple things but which I think really added to the experience. The racing is also fast, furious and sometimes, down-right scary. Very fast indeed. The AI drivers also don't mind being a little aggressive and some of the scrapes and crashes they get each other into can make for some very close shaves!
I wouldn't be surprised if the PC version supported 64 player maps, with the consoles capped out at 32. I think anymore is a lot to ask.
I would also expect to see an improved destruction system with slightly more dynamic physics attached to the buildings (as opposed to the largely pre-canned 'physics' they have at the moment)
My brain is telling me these things as they have a brilliant engine in Frostbite and they only need to tweak it to get more performance out of it to enable larger amounts of players.
But would performance tweaks really need '3 years in development'? I hope I have my mind blown. Reply-1
Nah you wait for the Blur review. It's going to shit all over Split Second. And it doesn't automatically post every record or achievement..I think there's a share button. Reply-2
Ducklord, I think it's a great idea if well implemented. Bloody loved the demo of this and looking forward to the four player splitscreen action. The others don't like it because they're grumpy, lonely bastards :D Reply+1
Shwing, it takes no skill because you're basically using glorified QTE's to win races. Blur has much, much more tactical gameplay by far. And this is coming from someone who saw the first gameplay videos of Blur and thought "My god that looks shite"!
It's all about timing powerups, knowing when and where to place mines and use boosts. If you're good enough, you can even win races without using them. Play a couple of games with a load of mates round, on a 20/20 server for a couple of hours and you will agree, I have no doubt about this :D
S/S is a spectacular game, and no doubt I will be purchasing it (having loved Pure) but Blur is already on pre-order and the day I take on my housemates in some 4 player splitscreen action will be brilliant. Reply+2
Just finished playing through the firsts SP campaign (rental from Blockbusters in preparation) and I really, really enjoyed it! The sound engine alone made it worth the play through! Hope BFBC2 brings more of the beautiful battlefield noises and s**ts on MW2 from a very great height indeed! Reply+3
schweet. This is the game I'm most looking forward to. The weapon sounds are simply unbelievable. Reminds me a lot of the gun battles in 'Heat'. Reply+3
Not gameplay in the same way that the recent Battlefield Bad Company 2 trailer isn't 'in gameplay' but pretty bloody close I reckon judging from the recent released screenshots etc...
Looking forward to seeing what CCP does with their more 'physical' approach to FPS's. Reply-1

The only reason why they can't destroy them in the same way that games like Burnout etc is that the manufacturers don't like it.
