A great game, by no means perfect, but very distinctive.
I cant help but think that it would've met with more acclaim last gen; people are too hung up on big budget visual fluff and excess for the sake of it these days. As someone pointed out elsewhere, for the rather shoddy and vacuous Enslaved to recieve acclaim, apparently on the strength of its guffy cutscenes, whilst this game gets a comparative drubbing is quite depressing.
It may not be game of the year, but its certainly far more deserving of notice than NFS, Enslaved, or the new Splinter Cell. Reply+2
