  Its all about the phat lewt for me. While I appreciate that genuinely kick ass items should always be very difficult to obtain it sounds like the trade and craft mechanic is pants.

  Holy kerap, how simple can it get? The worst part of fable 2 was the fact it was just button mashing simplicity.
  
  How about introducing some tactics? You could pretty much wade in and batter every combatant after shooting up a few levels and it made combat dull in both of the previous incarnations.

  YAY! An actual Baldurs Gate RPG sequel then, rather than some JRPG clone. Battles that are actually a challenge and require tactics? OH NO!
  
  I don't know how the console versions will differ, maybe they will offer up some button mashing version taht will satisfy the masses and their ten minute attention span.

  From the review it sounds like POP ver 2.0.
  
  POP for dummies. Did you find Sands of Time or Two Thrones too difficult? Did you struggle to work out the puzzles? Were you defeated by enemies that required skill to defeat? Sick of having to learn how to play the game?
  
  Don't worry! POP the ADD version is here now. With clear easy to understand accents and nice big flashing buttons.
  You will have beaten the game in under 6 hours and you can move on to the next title!

  My least favourite word when describing a sequel. "darker" Why? Why always darker. It fucked POP, i hope it doesn't do the same to Fable. It had one of the most enchanting environments in any game I have ever played. I remain hopeful. Reply 0

  Bumsticks! Loved the original felt it was hard but never cheap. Such a shame. Looks really full on all the time, in the original there was time to breathe between battles and generally only 3-5 enemies to contend with. This looks like a full on continual hack n slash.

  No, this is the gaming equivalent of a rock band having a hit and their fans asking them to produce another great rock album, rather than a pop album.
  
  This will sell well regardless of the difficulty level. I am not asking for a game that is harder than the original, just for them to produce another great game. NG got a 9/10 from EG and I don't see how making the game easier would be an improvement. Reply 0
