This is not for people who already have pc's, Snake.. It's about making the Steam library available for the masses at a cheap price, and for the masses to become Steam customers..
Been trying out the Big Picture mode since last week, it's really excellent. Amazes me how well done it is, it's like a 360 dash now but without all the slow loading of menus and items. Reply+30
This was an absolutely amazing game. I especially loved the characters in this. And I remember spending years after lurking on some fansite forum hoping for some kind of tidbit or release from that ending cliffhanger..
The game supposedly grew too big during development, so they had to cut it in half. The follow-up, Anachronox Prime, was going to be more like a part 2 than a sequel.
It's really sad how this game was buried, but the graphics were poorly dated by years even back when it was finally released, and it wasn't a type of game you ever used to see on pc's. I wonder how things could have been had this been released in a better state a couple of years later on the PS2 or XBOX.
Set up a Kickstarter for the sequel and I'd be all over it.. If they do it right, it's a good idea for a downloadable title I'd say. Reply+4
A 4? That is harsh, but I could see why someone would mean that. First you need to set up the Kinect properly, then you need to figure out how the controls work and how to best take use of them, and then you need to like Twisted Pixel's particular brand of humor. Even if all of the above click, this is still just a 6 or 7, but a really fun and stylistically interesting experience.
I've been picking up the DLC's for Gunstringer without even knowing what they are on the basis of my original playthrough of the main game, and also to support what I think is a really cool and original developer. I'm thinking I'm about due for a replay.. Reply+2
Yeah, it's funny how an 8 is a pretty great game, but a 7 is a hollow and empty experience.
I'm still looking forward to this though as I've loved every part of the series so far, ever since the similarly flawed reviews of the original. There's few games that lets you experience a world like when you turn off the HUD in this series. It really comes alive and becomes a way more subtle game. Reply+6

I find it kinda wierd how one of the achievements wants you to "impress Warren Vidic" though, perhaps it's an AC1 flashback? Reply 0
