I have left the game as a result of this and will not be playing another Battlefield game. I am a BF veteran since the days of BF:1942, Road to Rome and Desert Combat and I am sorry to say the game just isn't the same as what it once was. Reply+1

I think they should also do infomericals during prime time (soaps etc), highlighting to naive parents why they should pay attention to age ratings on games.
I don't mean scare tactics with unproven links to violence in real-life, I just mean detailing what 15/18 rated games contain. Reply+2
Anna-Marie Mason: It's well documented. In a marketplace like video games, there will always be somebody that's selling the game cheaper. That's not what we're about. We've never tried to be, or never wanted to operate like that.
What our customers get from us, whether they shop with GAME or Gamestation, is more than a sterile transaction. They get the opportunity to transact with us in the way they want and they get added value. Our customers will vote with their feet.
We still have two-and-a-half million people coming into our stores every week. Hopefully we've got something right.
And that, my dear, is why you are struggling to stay in business! Reply+59
surely the ports and "casual" games are where GAME would look to make the most money. With AAA games, you would expect the buyer to be a bit more clued up and would look for the cheapest place (usually online).
Cheaper games like most of the Ubisoft launch titles would appeal to younger kids and the mums who buy them, so GAME would probably profit more with them.
Another reason why I'm now 6-12 months behind release schedules, so I can properly assess whether a game is worthy of my money.
This game was not worthy and the fact that Bethesda must have known about this issue before release mean I don't think it ever will be. Reply+2
@adofessex does sound like a decent concept. Come up with an idea, pitch to gamers. Gamers then pledge money - that money proves to publishers that the game should be made. If the game then goes ahead, the money pledged gets taken from the gamers and used to build the game.
Gamers get a beta access or something in return - everyone's a winner! Reply+4
Beware of the Wii version peeps, read a review recently that said it unfortunately suffered from slow down.
