Game are terrible now, had to go there to get ICO + Shadow of Colossus and despite having racks full of the boxes they only had one copy left. So people behind me were going up with boxes off the shelves to be told there was none left. Also took them about 5mins to find the sodding disk, even cex are better now, and thats saying something. The missus got me a move for xmas and it is awesome with resident evil 5. Actually really adds to the game, wierdly not sure if it would work as well with an FPS but for a third person shooter its great. Reply+3
Yeah very good point, though you only need one eye toy so without a game and eye toy the price of an extra move should be a bit lower, £30-40 would probably be about right if the £60 figure is correct. I'm also guessing the nunchuck type accesory comes with it. Reply-1
haven't Sony already said it'll be about £60 for move + eyetoy + a game? I think microsoft will either have to have it sub £100 plus a game otherwise the casual Market probably won't bite. Or need to show a proper killer app to get the hardcore in, Sony have that same problem but the lower all inclusive price might suck the casuals in. Reply0
I don't like the way the resolution deficit on the 360 for split/second is just glossed over as unimportant but screen tear on the ps3 is made a big deal leading to a wobbly image. I didn't notice any on the ps3 demo, unless it was just not a very demanding level leading to lower stress on the engine. For me resolution is an important issue, it's whats held me back from getting RDR. Reply+2
Great article! Gave a good insight into the differences between 360/ps3, interesting to hear the ps3 had an edge blur the face off didn't see! It's a good example of the developer playing to each systems strengths, higher AA on 360, edge detection + blur on ps3, the way multi-plat should be! Reply+4
Differences between the games basicly come down to whether you prefer slightly more post processing, like the motion blur, or the higher resolution. I've always preferred the crisper image with high resolution, though I know some people hate the sight of even one jaggie. Reply0
Yup, loved 7,8 and 10 but hated 12. Got 13, was ok just a bit boring really, was far far too slow and the story didn't really grab me like the others had. Ended up trading it in for uncharted 2, quite possibly the best decision I've ever made! Reply+1

PlayStation 3 finally profitable
2006 - $69,129,058 (small profit made due to slow PS3 sales and high PS2 sales)
2007 - ($1,970,923,859)
2008 - ($1,079,994,103)
2009 - ($664,313,787)
2010 - ($856,245,250) (first 3 quarters only)
Total loss = ($4,502,347,941) "
Erm I'd question those 2010 figures since the article is about sony making a profit this year.... Reply -2

Except what I was saying is that the resolution deficit is a big issue in terms of image quality for me :S
IMHO Crisper Image >> Too many effects
Obviously that opinion does suck when PS3 games are covered in quincux! Reply 0

Well what I said was that I notice the drop in resolution, not that it made it look ugly.
But whatever I should just ignore someone so obviously on a wind-up. Reply 0
