From my steam-powered mobile island in which I roam the south pacific, I am able to use a series of lenses to keep an eye on anyone in the entire pacific basin. I also use this device, which I call the View-O-Matic, to observe the most singular and inexplicable natural phoenomena our planet has to offer. At night I turn the device skywards and bask in the glory of the solar constellations. Your efforts to find me will not be successful, because the island's heat ray surrounds it with a shimmering haze that makes it look like nothing more than a passing mirage to even the keenest of observers.
