A big fat "+1" to the fine gentleman who said Batman Begins is the best one in the trilogy. It is, especially in the general story structure and character arcs department. It's the purest of the three, for lack of a better word.
EDIT: And to all the people generally underrating Nolan; Memento and Prestige chuckle at your silly opinion. Reply+4
Got the game yesterday, lowered my expectations and... It's not bad, not bad at all. New game + feature alone makes DS one of my favorite franchises this gen.
I also feel this microtransaction thing was blown a bit out of proportions. Kind of like ME3 ending. :P Reply+2
A whole lot of words for a DLC pack. It's nice and all but I wish poor little WRC 3 got the same treatment or a whole bunch of small(ish) games that don't get a review here at all.
BL2 was my goty and I've bought all DLC day one but I'll sit this one out until they raise the cap, I'm afraid. I wasn't overly impressed with last DLC either, even though it was better then 90% of other games' DLC. Still; good job, Gearbox. Reply+1
It's idiotic to take torrent figures like that though, the movie and music industry do it and they come up with frankly stupid amounts of money "lost" they'd never get in reality.
They wouldn't get all of it but they would get some of it. Or do you actually believe all these people would suddenly stop watching movies, playing games and listening to music, if piracy wouldn't be possible anymore? Reply+1
Also; it'd be far easier to swallow if all these high-profile developers would specify how much money *they* will invest. They should be the first "backers" of their proposed project. Reply+3
If kickstarter was an investment scheme and I'd also get a procentage of possible profits (based on amount of my investment and number of investors, say), then I *might* be interested in backing something. As it i now, I'm happy to let other people fund games I may be interested in buying *if* they end up being good. Reply+2
Unless I'm perfectly satisfied with 720/PS4 specs (most likely), this kind of thing just might make me come back to PC gaming again. This and plug-and-play-no-question-asked gamepad support in most PC games. Reply+2
All that slow ram/slow CPU/this-gen/whatever crap showeled around on gaming sites just faded away when I actually sat down and played it. I have a whole list of things I'm not too fond of (drive doesn't spin down, patches, slow UI, battery life, etc. etc.) but I'm having fun with it and in the end that's all I ask from a gaming console. I just hope developers will explore all of its vast potential; at least on e-shop. Reply+7
Heh, first playthrough... This has hit such a sweet spot for me I'm not too far away from maxing three characters, which I never do in any other similar game.
I've played the demo more then any other demo in a long time, so it must be doing something right, imo. Made me wish I had money so I could buy it. Reply+7
Releasing multiplatform games way after the console games launch, using shoddy DRM practices and all this Uplay shit just shows its Ubisoft that's the problem in this case. Treat your pc gamers with respect and THEN we'll show you respect.
Is this a good reason to pirate their games? Or is this a reason not to buy and, therefore (shock and horror!), not to play their games? Reply-2
Unless the Wii U is infinitely more awesome than it seems and the 3DS XL starts selling a tonne, we could end up seeing Mario on the Playstation before you know it.
Ugh, "pretentious" - fucking hate this stupid, meaningless word and every so-called argument with it. Is someone truly pretentious, or is the other someone accusing him of that just a simpleton? Always hard to tell.
