  It's hardly ideal having attachments for a handheld (especially ones as bulky as this), but I'll definitely get one if Monster Hunter's released here. My 3DS doesn't leave the house anyway, so it's a minor inconvenience. Reply +10

  Why are you acting like this is a first for the series? There were G versions of the first two games as well, and even the Portable ones are based on the numbered instalments.
  
  They've done more than just port Tri to the 3DS. It's an enhanced version containing far more monsters and equipment. Reply +4

  A whopping two N64 games were remade, and this is a new game BASED on Monster Hunter Tri.

  The difference is that you won't remain "locked on" with this system. It's a simple camera adjustment.
  
  Also, to those saying this is just another reissue: What did you expect? There won't be an entirely new game until MH4. Until then they'll milk this generation for all it's worth with games like this and Portable 3rd. Reply +2

  The PSP had full camera control on the d-pad, which people controlled with their left index finger. Aside from being a shit thing to have to do, it's not possible on the 3DS due to the d-pad being lower than the slider. Reply +3
