Not defending the Kinnect at all as I have I one and it's a waste of time. But to those saying this could be done with a PS3/Xbox headset there's some you are missing.
The Kinnect hardware/firmware is processing the voice commands and relaying data to the game. The developers have not had to program their software to understand your speech, they just use the existing Kinnect API.
Just like the controller, they just need to decide what they want the buttons to do, not write driver software each and every time.
I have a feeling that made no sense, it's been a long day! Reply+3
I recently bought the Gears of War board game. It is genuinely damn good (and bloody hard to win!). The best bit is that it is for one to four players (it really does work with only one person although, like most things, is best with mates).
Edit: There's a link above, but it is worth mentioning again, http://boardgamegeek.com/ is a really good site with forums and reviews for most games. Reply+1
I quite liked the sequel too. Racing around an island digging pit traps and trying to get all the stuff for a submarine ride out of there. Good times. Reply+2
HMV have an app that that lets you scan the barcode with your phone and pops the price up straight away. I tend to use it in GAME to get them to match the price. Reply0
GRFS, another game with red/green multiplayer HUD. Way to naff off 10% of your audience. You would think with that many employees at a company, at least one would be colourblind and point out the problem.
@munki83 The UK infrastructure really does suck. Leaky water pipes, holey roads, crappy broadband etc etc. You wouldn't think we were in the G8. Reply+7
Still having massive lag issues here (1600ms lag spikes in large fights). Love it whem it works, but naffed off when I die (regularly!) due to network issues. Reply+3
I have yet to die in D3 through a mistake on my part. However I regularly die due to 1600ms lag spikes that occur in combat. 6 sec skill delay and unresponsive potions/red orbs is guaranteed death. Reply+68
Ok, so I can have 4 players on one xbox and 4 players on another and get 8 people into one world. But can I have 8 people on 8 seperate boxes connected together? I can't seem to find clarification either way. Reply+1
Just finished the Witcher and looking forward to Dragon's Dogma. Otherwise I might have found time to squeeze this one in. I'll maybe pick it up later if there's a dry spell. Reply-2

It's actually rather good and very useable. If you have Move already I would suggest this would not be a bad addition. Reply +5
