  @Negotiator1 A highly restricted version of the game is free. The game as a whole is not free. This type of attitude, especially towards a fighter, shows just how out of touch developers and promoters are becoming with their consumer base.
  
  The whole POINT of a fighting game is to experiment with different characters. Why they would even consider releasing it with only one useable character is beyond me. Reply +3

  Ok... Erm... Well, been playing fighting games since the original streetfighter so I reckon that I have a basis for comment.
  
  What a stupid fucking idea.
  
  First thing I do? I play ALL the characters to find out which feels right to me, which movesets I like and which characters I want to work on and fine tune. Yes, eventually I'll pick one or two favourites but only after narrowing it down.
  
  Games are changing all right. The whole industry is beginning to leave a really nasty taste in the mouth. Reply +4

  @DanSmith09 Is it though? Why did he have to bring online gaming into it at all? Does it matter they were playing that, or, possibly, anything could have driven him to slash his friends throat. He's still making the link between the violence and gaming.

  Well. Loved the first one so another 6 isn't going to dissuade me from getting this, Dead Island was an utter joy from start to finish.
