That is most definitely not a comparable issue. Online play was completely optional on the Xbox. If you want to play a game on the X1, a strong and stable Internet connection is required to play it. Imagine if you're playing a game like Skyrim using the "cloud" for computing lighting or complex AI, and suddenly you drop your connection. Then what? Do you play in the dark against woefully dumb opponents? Reply+6
Here's the issue with their little demo: Im betting they had google fiber levels of connectivity. Whereas everyone else has crappy sub-megabyte down and up speeds. It's just not feasible for tlr public at large. Reply+6
Ubisoft seemed to be the guys pushing for this second screen; The Crew's almost transformer-like customization, Division's drone cam, Watch_Dogs' tablet big brother...I have to wonder why Nintendo hasn't struck up a deal with them, after ZombieU. Reply0
This game is not fun.
That being said, for that reason it succeeds wildly. It's tense, harsh, and foreboding, and in all respects, fantastic. Game of the year. Reply+1
Next gen fish AI, it's like a step above Mario 64!
In all seriousness, predictable gameplay, rhythm, and gunfights...hope this doesn't define next gen. Reply+3
