@Mister-Wario That's what I heard too, but as far as I can tell, I haven't been online with it at all, and yet in February, I still received an email with my MotorStorm RC download code, and confirmation that I'd be getting Ratchet Gladiator in due course too. Reply0
"If you look at the difference between GT and GT2, and GT3 and GT4, the change is not incremental. It's absolutely massive,"
Hmmm, not entirely sure that I agree with that quote. To my eyes at least, GT2 looked significantly worse than GT, although it did add more, obviously. Reply0
You also referred to Dead Island: Riptide as "Mouldy-looking" in the 29th April UK chart Tom, and this baffles me, as not only is it not a bad looking game, but can you not be any more original? Reply+9
Shaving isn't pointless, it earns you Agent Bonus, and cleaning your suits prevents you from getting the awesome sounding Stinky Agent Penalty! Reply+7
I'm pretty sure Nintendo said at the time of the 3DS XL's release, the reason for not incorporating a second analogue stick into the design, is that if developers then made games that exclusively utilised both sticks, it would alienate owners of the 3DS that didn't own the Circle Pad Pro, and thus fragment the user base market. I remember picking this up on day of release, I think GAME were offering it for £19.99 when bought alongside anything else for some reason (pretty sure I bought DMC4 steelbook), and as a lifelong Bizarre Creations fan, that was too good to miss.
I can see why this is a Marmite game, and just as I love Marmite, I also love The Club. And just like Marmite, The Club is something of an acquired taste. Reply+4
@jonsaan This may be so, but sadly, they are all officially cleared by Lucasfilm as soundalikes, according to a developer interview with Zen Studios. Reply0
@joelstinton They work great on the Vita, as the triggers make great substitute pinball flipper buttons.
I have all the Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball 2 tables on Vita, and although there are some great tables on iOS, I only get the good ones that are exclusive to that platform, as I just can't get on with touch screen flippers and a tiny screen.
@Triggerhappytel Ah, fair enough then. I stand corrected my good Sir!
Still, nice of Sony to actually point this out as an option on the PS Vita's PSN Store, I can foresee a few disgruntled purchasers not realising this was an option until it's too late. Reply0
"The only fault we can pick out here is an issue streaming textures while turning around tight corridors specifically, which reveals a white flicker for a split second on the oncoming bend."
I've noticed this on most UE3 games to be fair, I just assumed that it was a quirk of the engine. Reply+2
I'm surprised that the PS3 version won out to be honest, given that in gamesTM #131, Crystal Dynamics themselves said that they worked exclusively on one platform only (the Xbox 360), whilst the PS3 and PC versions of the game were handled by long time collaborators Nixxes.
It just goes to show you then, that having the core team working on a console's specific version, doesn't necessarily guarantee the best results.
For what it's worth, I'm playing it on the Xbox 360, and am thoroughly enjoying it. Reply+6
I received my email yesterday with the subject line informing me that it was for the MotorStorm RC code.
I was naturally a little bummed out, as I bought that game as soon as it was released for PS Vita, and have been enjoying it in 3D on PS3.
So it was an extremely pleasant surprise to find this in the email also:
"We will also provide you with a free download of Ratchet: Gladiator on PlayStation®3 when it releases on PlayStation Store. You will receive more information on this in a further email."

It wouldn't download, instead it would get to 98%, then jump all over the place before failing. Also, it was 160 Mb+, so not on disk.
It's since been pulled, but he certainly looks like being the first character to be released. Reply 0

If this is true, then where are they?
Both Amazon and GAME have nothing listed as pre-order bonuses.
I'm fed up of articles that mention such offers, before the websites themselves have them available.
