"turn this damn industry into the environment we want it to be"
Hmm...
Guys just stop hanging up pictures of scantily-clad women, it's juvenile. Grow up.
Having said that, don't let women totally take over the working environment otherwise you'll end up getting fired for making jokes about pencils or whatever. Reply-2
The PC version is a clusterfuck and the frame rate is all over the place. It is impossible to get a completely smooth performance no matter what settings/resolution you choose. I found it an incredibly annoying experience trying to get judder-free gameplay and ended up uninstalling the game in disgust. Reply+3
Ha I know what you mean. The frame rate in Crysis 3 is all over the place and it drops frames for seemingly no good reason at all. I finally had enough when I was going through a tunnel and it dropped from 60 to 32fps. The game had no trouble rendering the massive field of grass before that! Just shoddy.

Oh and by the way the Physx in Borderlands 2 results in really poor performance even with top hardware and isn't worth using if you want a stable frame rate. Reply+2
I recently purchased the 12GB model after my fatty PS3 died and have been less than impressed with both the overall price (£182 including mounting bracket) and build quality. The disc drive is obnoxiously loud and the whole unit feels incredibly cheap. Luckily I had a SSD going spare so at least that didn't add to the cost. Sony are taking the piss with the so-called super slim in my opinion. Reply+4
If you are using a Nvidia card choose the adaptive vsync option then. You will get tearing when it drops under whatever your monitors refresh rate is but you won't get any input lag. Alternatively cap the frame rate to 58fps and use regular vsync. Reply+1
" On arrival we split up and I soon found a hammer. A few minutes later, I found a gun. I called my buddy over and gave him the hammer, then resumed searching. He bludgeoned me in the back of the head, looted my corpse, and typed 'sorry'"
I double-dipped and got both PC and 360 versions. At the moment the PC version has been shelved due to intolerable micro stuttering/frame skipping (plenty of people are complaining about it on Guru3D so it's not just me) so I've resorted to playing the 360 version. I don't like screen tearing but it's preferable to the stutter fest that is the PC version in its current form. The game seems really good fun and ultimately that's the most important thing so sure I can put up with the screen tearing to be honest. Reply-2

It sounds like the game isn't triple buffered. Use D3DOverrider to force triple buffering. Reply +2
