Giveaways Grab a Test Drive Unlimited 2 beta key

Eden Games is taking its time to make sure Test Drive Unlimited 2 is right. It wasn't ready for September 2010, so Atari and Eden are holding it back until Q1 2011. Things need testing; how many times do we see a game launch and then be rapidly patched? And Eden's got plenty of lofty online multiplayer ideas to test. That's where you come in.

You're needed to bombard the Test Drive Unlimited 2 servers tomorrow (Saturday, 23rd October) for four hours: from 8pm and to midnight (UK time).

Are you allowed to stay up that late?

If you are, one of Eurogamer's 4000 keys to the Test Drive Unlimited 2 beta awaits. Click below to claim one. You'll need to log-in to your Eurogamer account first.

The recommended system specs for the TDU2 beta are: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7; Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz/AMD Phenom II X2 555 (3GHz); 4GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce 8800/ATI Radeon HD 3850.

What is Test Drive Unlimited? A slice of life as a rich car enthusiast. Yours is the run of a tropical island that sprouts gorgeous supercars, gorgeous people and gorgeous scenery. Either rev your way around the roads, exploring and taking on challenges, or park up and get out from behind the wheel and buy houses, clothes and probably girlfriends.

You can join a racing club (think MMO guild) and challenge other racing clubs, and level up through exploration and involvement.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is an entire racing world.

Christian Donlan sauntered around Test Drive Unlimited 2 for Eurogamer earlier this year.
