Giveaways SOCOM: Confrontation Multiplayer Demo

SOCOM Confrontation

Eurogamer is happy, proud, excited - and mortally wounded after taking one in the shoulder and stumbling several paces to a computer console to hit the big red button in last-gasp theatrical fashion - to distribute 6,000 beta keys for Sony's upcoming SOCOM: Confrontation to our readers today!

All you have to do to get your hands on one of the keys is register for Eurogamers and then click on the button below. If you're one of the first 6,000 people to do so, you will be presented with a key.

That key can then be redeemed on your PlayStation 3 immediately to gain access to the multiplayer beta, which runs for an entire month and should give you plenty of opportunities to show those pesky tangos who's bringing the freedom. You should be given a message on exactly how to do that, which you can always check again through your Eurogamers account if you forget the protocol.

SOCOM: Confrontation is a third-person tactical shooter for PSN with 32-player support and builds on the immense success of its PS2 predecessors, which arguably paved the way for Sony's entire PlayStation Network movement. You loves you some tango-hunting, innit.

Once you're on the beta, and while you're waiting to download the files, why not check in with our SOCOM: Confrontation gamepage to discover how the thing looks in action across video, screenshots and all the latest news. You can also join the SOCOM Eurogamers group. The full game is due out in October.

This giveaway has now finished. If you successfully claimed a key, it should appear below, along with instructions for what to do next.
