Simian 19 May '09 21:53:33	Yeah, just noticed that too - looks like we'll be able to get a sniper-ish head shot with that thing, looking at the achievements ('skullduggery' in particular). Slower reload seems like a good trade off for superior accuracy. Looks like the Sniper's Razorback unlock does has some use after all - if an Ambassador-wielding spy can't backstab the sniper, he's going to be slightly screwed unless he can squeeze in a shot to the head. send message \| log in to reply!

absolutezero 19 May '09 22:18:44	Theres a fair few lists of servers that people like scattered through the rest of the thread. I like the Lotus Clan servers myself, theres a good blend of good and average players that make playing fun and still a challenge, none of them really take it too seriously either. The RPS server is great when theres actually RPS people on it and not 8 snipers from Greece. send message \| log in to reply!

I think you might be thinking of something else to be honest, Ive never really had all that bad an experience playing on them, theres some like Frogs that are shit. Would be intersted to hear more about this fake player stuff. Ahhh that false player count mod thing. Yeah thats fucking shit and it is in use on the Lotus servers for some reason. hmmmm. Bloodloss 19 May '09 22:30:18	The PC Gamer server is pretty good when, as absolutezero said with the RPS one, the proper community is actually playing on it. But yeah, I've found it harder to find a good server with this game than I have with others. So many servers screwed up with 24/7 2fort, instant respawn, etc etc.. Anyway the new revolver is cool looking and all, but I still say it makes no sense - he's a spy... he should be using a silenced PP7 or something. Then again, this is TF2... Crovax20 20 May '09 15:06:26	I suggest you try Special Attack servers We run the game pretty vanilla, with slightly tweaked spawntimes. Classlimits are at 4, so you usually don't have to worry about it. 26 slot servers, SpA points feature which allows you to buy reserved slots, maps, etc. You can earn SpA points by playing on the server, by helping fill the server, by being top on your team or by donating. Bloodloss 20 May '09 17:54:23	Enable console in options (Keyboard -> Advanced). Press the button under escape to open the console, type connect and then an IP address.
