Okay, so loads of us live/work in or around london, this thread is here purely for people who live/work in London to declare they are ok please.

News of their flat phone batteries is awaited on from DB's GF's sister and friend who are visiting.

Jesus - this makes me realise how much I depend on mobiles. Being going nuts trying to call my family, and just getting engaged phones. Fucking fucking scary.

They're all okay (got email) so now tracking down friends.

P.S. I know I'm not following the letter of the thread title, not being in London right now - hope it's sort of on topic though, and frankly I've been having kittens here ... just need to post something, somewhere.

Haven't been out of the house yet (North Finchley) but everything seems relatively undisturbed - we are about to go get my pregnant sister from Holloway - does anyone know if whe'll have any problem getting through to the Holloway area. We should also call her husband, thankfully, he works at Whetstone.

You'll be extatic to know I'm fine and so's my girlfriend on the other side of london in Hammersmith.

I'm sat in Angel at a design place along Camden Passage, waiting for a meeting that'll never happen now. Wonder how much a taxi back to Reading's going to set me back.
