Im more than a hundred years old(cant remember excactly how much) and Im afraid Im not gonna make it to the Nintendo DSi XL launch in my region(cant remember that one either, must be gettin [really]old I suppose) what are the chances someone'll translate the system menu for the new Nintendo DSi LL when it hits Japan November 21st? Did it happen when the previous models launched? if so can anybody post a link??

My DS Lite is Japanese. You can switch the language on the menu.

Although you do have to find the language bit while it is in Japanese. Bit of trial and error fun :)

英語 (えいご) is English in Japanese. The rest is up to you.

I'm pretty sure the standard DSi doesn't have English menus in its Japanese incarnation. Assuming that they use the same basic firmware - and there's no reason for them not to - you'd be better off waiting for the US one to come out if Japanese is a problem. There's the region lock on DSi software, too.
