Got an e-mail from Game saying they have dispatched my copy this morning! hopefuly it'll be here 2moro. Anyways was just wondering if anyone knew wether the xbox controller will be compatible on the P.C version?

Does anyone have any information on the supposed instructions given to the courier companies to delay the sending of MW2 until Monday so it arrives Tuesday the day of launch?

I'm still holding out in the hope that the supermarkets spark another price war, the same way they did with Fifa.

I booked time off work and the mrs to play it (sad maybe) so I didn't want to take the chance! That said I could do with the £11.

Many retailers have been sending this email for 2 days now but the games are actually held in the ParcelForce depot and won't be released until Monday. Sorry to disapoint

does anyone know a good place to preorder it in ireland??? can't find anywhere in ireland that i know of to deliver it..

Mines not been dispatched either. To be honest, I can't see it turning up until Wednesday.

I'm with amazon too. I'm still on a month free amazon prime so mines going Expedited delivery - anyone know who'll be delivering it?

Don't really see the point of pre-ordering from anywhere other then GAME online to get the reward point. Otherwise you may as just grab it from a supermarket, generally the same price as online and you just get the game there and then instead of relying on the post. Plus you can get it midnight or as soon as you get up, far better then waiting til 1 - 2 in the afternoon for the post to show up.

i ordered my hardened edition from amazon when it was £60 =] and so im saving ten pound... even if i dont get it on the day. but i can live with it for ten pound.

If it comes on tuesay or wednesday then theres a pretty good chance i might catch swine flu!

Game dispatched my MW2 Super Elite yesterday using parcelforce express 24. Fingers crossed it will get here tomorrow!

play.com said that if you order mw2 before midnight 8th november its garantteed to arrive
on release date. true?

The last 3 pre-orders I've had with Play have arrived earlier than release date. That's Batman, Brutal Legend and Forza 3.

also amazon, play.com who every never dispatch stuff on sunday
