"Champions League 2009/2010"

2nd round of Qualifiers start tis week.

I'm crapping it for tonight, new manager, new players and Dinamo Moscow midway through the Russian season could be very tricky indeed!

I think Celtic are the only British club involved in this round, is that right?

Yeah, the top 3 went straight through to the group stages. We play In the last qual round. Meant to be unseeded but I'm sure I saw something from Wenger that said it wasn't quite and the co-efficient still applied

Yeah, you could play us if we make it through!
We'll get either Arsenal, Lyon, Stuttgart, Fiorentina or Atletico Madrid if successful :-(

Will have to look again at who we can get. Few tricky ones, Inc yourselves and some easier ones.

First official game of the season for Sporting, canīt wait for the kick-off. We have a good history against dutch clubs, we should be able to win against Twente tonight.

Look out for Mati Fernandez, I'd like to hear how he gets on in Portugal. Should be easier for him than Spain, I think.

Yeah, I'm gutted that it's Twente against Sporting as they're two clubs that I really like, possibly my favourite two European clubs in fact!

Best of luck to Sporting though, and Celtic too - can't hurt to have another British team in the main tournament eh!

Matiīs been great for us. Already scored 2 goals and heīs definetly an improvement for the team. I had no idea the guy was so big in Chile. His first goal was on a training match against a 3rd divison team and they showed the thing on CNN Chile like it was an amazing thing.

It looks like Moutinho missed a penality and Twente had a player sent off.

Isn't Rajkovic banned until later this year for spitting at a ref?

Could just be a crappy stream, but I'm amazed how similar they look now that Veloso has ditched the facial hair, and styled his hair pretty much the same as Cana's
