Killzone soldiers are kitted out, carrying weight, IMO I'd say it's realism, i appreciate that. I still manage to snipe someone at a reasonable distance with the normal assault rifle too. Recoil may also effect your aiming if your trigger happy? Shorter bursts of fire will help.

Im not bad at the game. Im a good distance through the campaign and Ive scored well in multiplayer most of the time.

The thing our mouth foaming fanboy above just doesnt seem to understand is that I dont like the game very much. Apparently Im not alone either. I tried it, its not for me.

Love the controls and the game is the nuts, completed the story last night and am nearly up to general rank now. Is that it for the leveling up for multiplayer.

I would ask them for some new maps (8 is not enough), Free for all, Custom uniforms.

I love this game and have had NONE of the issues described.

I have set my controls to alt-2 which, I believe, is the 'call of duty' style. There is also an option to hold zoom/aim. These combined make it more or less exactly the same as CoD.

Rainbow 6 Vegas and R6V2 had 'heavy' controls and this wasn't an issue for people because they knew they were to expect a more tactical, progressive game than just run'n'gun. I think perhaps Sony failed to get this ethos across and this has caused the concern.

Aiming that doesn't use acceleration != Heavy Controls.

I love this game, but the aiming controls ARE utter shit and ruining it for me.

Let us fucking turn the bullshit acceleration off for the single player/skirmish...

It's not as if anyone wants it to control like COD, is it. It's nothing about that so absolutely FARK OFF with that argument already... it's about turning acceleration. There is not a DROP of intertia in the way your gun controls and many of the battles are about response time to situations, particularly the last.

So bloody can it already.

After all, I'd love to delve into some of the Turning Point/Legendary/Turok threads and see if any of you are arguing that the controls are somehow "on purpose" for those games... O WAIT, you're not.

I'd have it control like COD, then I could play it!

Anyone like Marmite? I think it's nice!
