It would be nice for one of the big companies like THQ to properly listen to fan feedback before making a start on SR3.

As a matter of fact, they have listened to a lot of fan feedback from SR 1 while making SR 2.

A lot of the things people asked for/complained about with SR 1 have been addressed in the sequel, which is looking like it could be a great game, and a lot of early review 'hints' are suggesting this could be the surprise hit of the year.

As opposed to the horrible last-gen looking Red Faction 3 you're all going to get early next year.

Very much so. I don't want RF to be another me-too third-person shooter, but I want it to return to its FPS roots and give us another game like the first. And preferably as far removed from the horrible second game as possible...
