Earlier levels have 10 waves, then it goes up to 20. I haven't progressed far enough in the game to know if it ever goes beyond that though.
The game generally starts to "feel" faster as you get a speed upgrade for your Tikiman and the levels become far busier for the player - in later levels you barely have time to think - always running around trying to build or upgrade or change strategies altogether.
I love it. (Although I must agree that it's not the most ideal game for short bus / train rides.)

Erm... what does the Start button do then?
It's certainly very nicely presented, but feels fiddly when compared to something like Geodefence. And do all the levels have 20 waves? The first level just went on for ages!
In many other tower defense games you are able to paues the game and deploy towers. Giving you breathing room.

Dracula X? Excellent. Surely it means that a release here for that is not too far away? Ditto with the SE games.
Disgaea Infinite made me all curious, until I found out it's just a visual novel-type spin-off game.

Admittedly I've only played Geodefense and Fieldrunners, but both those games don't have any pause function at all. GD in particular gets extremely frantic at times!

Fieldrunners has a pause, at least in the PSP version.

Those looking for PSN card sellers with the ability to get them straight away can try this site. Slightly dearer at £17.90 (than Zavvi), but at least you won't have a spare Blu-Ray box to contend with!

NISA are on a roll. Next week Disgaea, the week after, Mana Khemia 1: Student Alliance (which actually got a very low score of 2.7 on IGN).
Oh, and I failed to notice that Ghostbusters PSP isn't actually too bad either. It could have been a lot worse than £17.

Have you found any reviews of Ghostbusters? Tempted but need some reviews to back up any purchase.

What about the MotorStorm demo? They tease us with an email about it weeks ago, so where is it?
Oh well, I'm having too much fun with LocoRoco Midnight Carnival to bother with anything else at the moment.

Today was never going to be a big update after Mike Kebby's warning last week but to be honest, we've had worse than this. The update this week is actually not badly skimping on the numbers, just lacking in quality. This week, as announced, we received Dragoneer's Aria and NIS Europe seem to know that it's doomed to fail at a high price, so they cut it to £12. Still not a game I would personally buy at that price though.
We also get Ghostbusters (that is the "we're not making a PSP version of the game" version of Ghostbusters) and at a reasonable price, or at least more reasonable than say, Star Wars.
We get another delightful mini for a classic competition game, Spot the Difference, another PS1 game (Is Disney really the only publisher giving PS1 games to SCEE?!), some more Rock Band Unplugged songs for your No.1 for the 3rd/4th week Starter Pack and a couple of trailers for Thexder Neo and some game called Metal Gear Solid.
Oh, and another round of price cuts with echochrome micro leading the way...
"Peace Walker"
Next week
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness is released (hopefully). Only question is, how much?
