No wonder he's chewing the bar off, fighting that much wind resistance.

Also, Marcel Kittel is a dick.

Because he's realise he's peaked to soon and Cav is going to hand his arse to him on a plate...maybe :)

If Cav does any arse handing it'll be because OPQ have sorted his train out finally. Hope to Alessandro in a GT this year.

Nice weather my arse, blowing a gale and freezing cold in East Yorkshire, only managed around 5 miles before I gave up today, wasn't layered up properly and wasn't wearing my winter gloves.

First time on giving up and turning back ever, most disappoint. :(

    You better watch out.
    You better beware.

My winter gloves are the last things to get switched out, this time of year for me. I'm already back to shorts and t-shirt (but then I'm not cycling in the East riding), but I'm not back to my summer gloves yet.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

Long sleeve jersey, track mitts, shorts, shaved legs and sunglasses when I hit the very misty Outer Circle just after 6am on Thursday.

Switched from my clear lenses too early. Couldn't see for shit, my steel forks had a layer frost formed from the 40kph icy winds I was putting them through.

I felt like a total fucking boss.

Anyone know how to add friends on the Strava app for android? My mate now has it but I don't know how to follow him...

    Well, durr...

I meant what happened in the race to piss him off ;)

Nothing beats Millar flinging a bike into a ravine. Except maybe Millar getting to the top of Angrilu and handing his number in.

I threw my bike into a river once.

Sadly without a support team I had to go in and get it. :(

Tried to get out this morning and my gear cable snapped :( got it fixed went out again and developed a wobble on the front wheel. Not a good day really! Going for the free service tomorrow so not the end of the world, just would have been nice to get a few more miles in while the weather is nice.

A bit like a Cannondale lefty. Technically it's plenty stiff enough, but I still don't trust it.

Lefty is the suspension version. That's a solo.

He crashed in full preparation for the sprint, with 2.6 kms left to go.

Did Anyone see Contador flying up them climbs this weekend?
Quite mental that they're sending a race over a hill with an incline of near 20% on average and 30% at the steepest bit! 0_o

30% is just madness. It's not possible to race on a climb that steep.

I do a 19% quite regularly, that's steep enough for the front wheel to lift when you put the power down. No wonder Kittel went up with a 34-28.

I've done 30% gradients, but they tend to be about 20 meters long. :D

Be my guest, can't imagine a 30% drop down the side of a muddy hill is much fun though :D
  • Deleted user 16 March 2014 21:54:08

I'm not a fan of descents even on the road ;)

Prefer the ups like a true, broken, Lycra fetishist roadie

I like the one also where he finishes a TT, just about gets off the bike and carefully leans it against the barrier before collapsing with exhaustion.
