Just popped into GAME at lunchtime. They had Mercury Revolution for £40 new or £35 second-hand. That's more than Metroid or Super Paper Mario. o_0

My local GAME had (a few months back) PGR3 new for 19.99 or second hand for 24.99. Didn't realise smudge marks on the disc and coffee rings on the manual were that valuable...

Clever of them to keep it below the all important £10,000 pricepoint, that would have really put people off.

Crap...I was gonna trade it against Assassin's Creed, is it seriously only £5?

Are all stores doing it for about that price?

Went in to a second hand game shop here in the Netherlands that seemed to have a good reputation. Biggest rip off central ever. Dreamcast controllers were 25 euros each, that's almost the same price they were new. Tomb Raider games on the PS1 for 15 Euros, they cost about 1p now in the UK, 1000 times cheaper. Dreamcast cames for 30 euros upwards that are available for under a fiver elsewhere. Rez for 70 euros but I realise that's a rare title (still, 70 euros!).

I've come to realise the UK really is a much much better country for gaming bargains.

I've seen a few absolutely ridiculous prices on marketplace, such as the Star Wars trilogy on DVD for about 1300 quid. I don't quite get it, maybe they're hoping someone will click on it by mistake and not notice?

Amazon themselves were selling an xbox game for over a grand new once (Dr. Muto I think), although I put that down to some system error.
