I desperately need some new shoes (trainers or...SNEAKERS...as some people call them), but I haven't found anything that I've really liked so far.

So does anyone know of any good shoe sites? Ta

Could a mod change the title to "Good online shoe shops?".

I don't know any sites, to be honest.

Do you have a specific pair in mind? Surely buying online without trying them on could be a bit hit and miss? Possibly a trip to the highstreet first might be in order.

Some very kind online retailer posted several threads with a link to their shop recently, but the overzealous mods deleted every single thread.

    Blame them.

Heh, I've been on Schuh's site already. :)

There's a pair I quite like there, but they seem to be an online-only colour, the GITS. I'm a bit wary of buying clothes online in case they don't fit, TBH.

I've been looking at just a trainer/skate style of shoe, with something a bit different about it but not too different if you know what I mean.

Now the exchange rate has taken a bit of a bumming, its not quite as cheap, but I have bought all my trainers recently from US ebay stores. Shoe Metro are particularly good and even with it costing 20 quid delivery, it still ended up being 20 or 30 pounds cheaper than buying them in the UK.

    Really nice limited editions too.

No luck on Shoe Metro unfortunately.

Best i've found so far is around $40 for a pair of size 7, or 60 Euros on German ebay for a pair of size 8. Considering i'm really more of a size 9/10 and the current exchange, it's looking like slim pickings :(

    Amazon?

I've got my last few pairs of boots from shops selling through Marketplace. Got a good price on a pair of Nike trainers as well not so long a go.

The Office website was quite good when I used it, decent delivery but quite a strange layout.
