Is that because it was the decade Alien 3 was released?

I do love all the cold war paranoid films that came out in that decade, there was a great raft of quality in there.

    I don't care.

    I'm fucking hyped.

/has a genuine fondness for the turtles

I rather liked the last 3D movie that came out a few years ago.

It looks absolutely awful. Megan fox is awful, Michael Bay is awful and those turtle designs are awful.

Other than that, yeah, cant wait.

    13th Warrior - 90%

I was quite suprised, alot of reviews said this film was terrible, but I really enjoyed it. I read the book a while ago, 'eaters of the dead'.
Banderas played Ibn Fadlan well, the action scenes were good, as well as the sets. The North men are similar to how they're depicted in the book. Had a good balance of mistery, action and intensity throughout. I'm sure someone will put me in my place about why this film was apparently terrible, but I can't see why. Maybe i'm just a sucker for Vikings

Is Outlander the one with the guy who crash lands his spacecraft in Viking times?

Ben Kingsley in the most obvious twist ever. No good man wears eyeliner like that.

I did as well, but I knew it was trash when I watched it.

The best Viking film of recent years is How To Train Your Dragon.
i agree, but Antonio Banderas, he is no happy.

Lol totally. I was a good few beers in by the time I got home and turned it on, and even in my inebriated state I rolled my eyes within the first five minutes.

Mars Attacks is a $100m movie parodying B movie conventions.

    Hardware is a good sci-fi B movie.

I saw Mars Attacks at the cinema when it came out. About half way through the film broke in the projector. I was glad.
