Oh yeah, mama. I'll tell the mrs its an uplifting story of child adoption and triumph through adversity.

Or the sequel to Mamma Mia.

"So, when does the singing kick in nickywicky baby?"

Give yourself £5 or Ĺ gig, you're worth it.

Thankfully, she hates mamma mia, partially through snobbery. She thinks that anyone who says 'I love going to the theatre' and proceeds to list 'we will rock you' and 'mamma mia' as things they have seen recently is a cunt.

Finally seen Alien3 special edition. Found it more enjoyable than the cinema release version. Is it the same as the Fincher version which gets mentioned on here. Have to watch it again to rate it as we had a hour long power cut last night. Probably not the best film to watch at night when the power cuts out during a alien chase scene

Its more the fact that people congratulate themselves on supporting the arts when, in fact, they are attending the theatrical equivalent of Wii Shovelware.

Also, Mamma Mia does suck balls, so there is that.

    Wreck-It Ralph, probably a 75% for me.

    Star Wreck.

Really bad budget do it your self effect star trek parody. Watching it now Don't want to finish it, but my boss lent it to me so i need to know what happens just incase he decides to ask me about it.

It has a couple of nice refrences, but it so lazyily written, its like what i may have done in my year 10 english and media class thinking our puns were hilarious. At least iron sky as a sense of satire deeper than shit puns.

Some of the home effects are quite good. And it does kind of tap into some of the sillyness off the original series... but yeah

I just really want to watch galaxy quest now.

    -3/10

True in terms of creativity etc but these shows keep an awful lot of jobbing actors/musical theatre types in work. Most of whom don't care much for the show but are grateful for the work.

Sho nuff. One of her mates is an opera singer by trade but finds herself in these things to get the rent paid.

Aye, my wife's got quite a few mates that do the rounds in these things. Most are all ensemble stuff, must drive them mad. Regular work though I guess.

    Red Dawn (2012)
Fucking shit. Drake and Josh star loses weight and becomes...an arsehole of huge proportion. Do not, I repeat, do not watch this if you have any sense of decency, or you hate Jocks.

I could go on. Chris Hemsworth, you disappoint me.

1/10. 1 is for the end credits.

Do they at least have the AVENGE ME scene in it? Or do they say WOLVERINES at some point?

Oh they say 'wol-ver-rines!' A lot.
Honestly mate. I love the original in a warm, snuggly childhood type of way, despite its flaws. But this is absolutely hateful in every way.

Those infinite number of monkeys that are supposed to knock out the works of Shakespeare? Ten of them took a cigarette break and wrote the script for this shit.

If you got through the first hour without thinking "The fuck?" you're a better man than I. I had to wait ninety minutes for one gimp to get karate-chopped in the throat. Matt Damon would have sorted this shit out in fifteen minutes flat.
Why, why did you even watch it? I swear never to watch this film it's just a cheap cash in.

    Looper 8/10.

I thought it was an interesting essay on love requiring massive suspension of disbelief.

Loses a point for dragging in the middle.

In Bruges 10. One of the best black comedies ever. If you seen this and liked it watch the guard.

I actually thought it was quite good. Not as good as the Matt Damon ones, but still good. As cash-ins go, I've seen far worse.

Loved the first one. With this it's like they set out to show how badly it could be done. Total crap.

    Ultraviolet (2006) 1/10

The DVD cover looks nice with itís reflective effect. Milla Jovovich is on the cover too. This is where the positives end.

The film opens interestingly enough, with shots over various comic books. 12 minutes into the film I found myself looking at the counter, wondering how much longer the film had to go. I got the impression most of the film was shot against a green screen, with mixed results. One of the most off-putting aspects of the film, other than the dire storyline, was the use of some smart-blur type effect on Jovovichís face, which is really over done at times, to the put where her face looks like it is made of wax.

To be honest I wasnít expecting much, and Ultraviolet delivered less.

This is where I should stop. I could go on. Iíll say one more thing: the film looks cheap. Iíve seen superior more impressive cut scenes during video games compared to what this film offers.

    The Dinosaur Project

Lost footage shenanigans with dinosaurs. It's really not that good, but curiously entertaining.

And I want a pet dinosaur.

I guess so. £1.00 from CEX to see Milla bottom was worth every penny.

..the slow motion bits, of which there are lots, look dire..
