Bit late to the Skyfall party and wanted to wait for BlueRay before seeing it. Watched it last night and loved it and would give it a slight edge over Casino Royale.

I've put a little more in the Skyfall thread.

    9/10

It was a rare film for in that I liked it more as time went on.
Straight after finishing it I was a bit "WTF Bond? There wasn't any Bond to that."

But then the next day I changed my opinion completely and thought it was an excellent film.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

I personally went in the opposite direction. Straight after walking out of the cinema i was thinking "yeah, they nailed it, damn good Bond movie".

However, thinking back, i dont think it was quite as good as i initially thought. Definitely MILES better than the heap of shite that was Quantum of Solace, but nowhere near as good as Casino Royale and DEFINITELY not the best Bond ever.

I think it was better than Casino Royale, to be honest.

It was certainly a better film than Casino Royale if not a better 'Bond' film.

Goldeneye is the best Bond film, but Skyfall is probably the best film with Bond in it.

Have you watched Goldeneye recently? It, along with the rest of the Brosnan movies, have aged horrifically.

I just didn't rate Casino Royale anywhere near as much as anyone else.

Far too much awful poker 101, and not enough to mark it as a Bond film.

I lurk. If I've spoken to you, I'm either impassioned, or drunk.

It would be great if Gansosleftpeg was actually George Clooney just mucking around :D

Was just going to say the same. Shame, as I loved it first time round. Brought back Bond properly.

Yeah it's the only Brosnan one I've got, and the only one I rate.

It has aged but I've a real soft spot for it, helped a lot by the N64 game.

Seriously, you're making yourself look very, very silly. You should probably quit while you're behind. No doubt you'll have some withering come back to this as you misunderstand my intention.

    Immortals

Sort of in the 'shit but kind of good' category for me.

It screams low budget at you and feels a bit amateurish throughout. Based on this performance (I've not seen him in anything else), I'm not convinced Henry Cavill can act, although it's entirely possible the shoddy, slightly childish material is to blame for that.

Enjoyable in a really dumb way, but not as good as 300.

Guys: stop ruining the film thread. It's been a while since I GI'd someone, but I'm happy to get into the swing of it again.
