I watched the new Batman the other day.
Why does Bane sound like someone doing a really bad Sean Connery accent?

Anyway, it was ok apart from a few places in the middle being a bit boring.
I thought the final fight between Batman and Bane was a bit lame as was the way he was killed. Same goes for that bird being killed off becuase she was forced to drive off a road.

I think Begins was my favourite of the three.

He's wears them in private, whilst squatting on the mirror.

Give yourself £5 or ½ gig, you're worth it.

    The Dictator

    Why did I bother...3/10

Cohen should have called it a day after Borat. Just painful to watch with one lame joke after another.

    Groundhog Day

It's rough and cobbled together, but also effortless and exquisite. Like Bill Murray.

Lest we not forget the awful Ali G movie before Borat.

But yeh, Borat was the only good film he's done.

Yeh a lot of people do it seems. Don't understand that one. Not only painfully unfunny but also homophobic.

The first half of Bruno was dreadful, but I did find the 2nd half quite funny.

The Ali G film was a bit lame but a few moments at least raised a smile. The Dictator on the other hand was just a blatent cash in.

The problem with Bruno is that it felt too staged.

Do you consider Borat racist as well imamazed?

I know what you're getting at, but there really was a difference. Bruno went beyond parody and soft generalisations and into actual homophobia. The ironic shtick can only excuse you so far imo.

It's actually one of the only films I can say I've been genuinely "offended" by. And I'm not even a homosexualist.

EDIT - agree about it being too staged as well.

    Reign of Fire

Think I liked the idea of it more but not awful, fairly decent. Funny watching Bale in this, his acting is so far beyond the others even in this you can't stand seeing the other actors in the same scene.

Even has that Bond girl from Goldeneye. I think it keeps itself grounded enough and doesn't go CGI nuts or how you expect a film with Dragons to go. I would like to see a prequel or something.
