92% (extra 5% for Keith Richards)

As an overall trilogy its up there with Indy and Star Wars for me now. Never wanted to be a pirate as a kid. Do now though. Brilliant.

    What what what

The last 40 minutes aside (which were admittedly awesome, with some of the best cinematography of recent memory) the film sucked ass. 2 hours of meandering plotless nothingness that did absolutely nothing but stretch the characters paper-thin.

    Truth.

The Jack going mental bits were pretty cool, but the film dragged a lot until that utterly spectacular finale.

Wow I wasted £8 on this shit. The ending didn't make sense. Worst Saw ever.

£8?! Do you live in the south of England then?

I loved At World's End. What was that about spreading the characters paper thin?

We're talking about the same characters right? Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly? Those characters? What is there to spread thin?

Everyone else was just more character. Sparrow being Sparrow (not like the nasty Dead Man's Chest), Barbossa being Barbossa and Davy Jones being Bill Ni- being Davy Jones!

    Saw IV - 20%.

A big stinking convoluted mess. There's plot lines going North, East, South and West, which all end up colliding with each other in a big car crash climax, where nothing get's explained, and infact leaves a gigantic plot hole as big as the gap where Jigsaw's brain used to be.

Avoid like your life depended on it.

What? You people are stupid, i thought it was as good as the first. The second one loses points for having alot of time wasting fighting, like fighting over the heart, but the third has lots of plot with lots of action that is part of the plot instead of superfluous, enjoyed it alot, and a great end to a great trilogy.

    PotC: CotBP 9/10
    PotC: DMC 7.9/10
    PotC: AWE 9/10

Apocalypse Now - The super exended version. 50%

The super extra bits don't fit with the rest of the film at all. On the whole the film falls apart towards the end.

Die Hard 4.0, i'll give it 80%, typical yank shit, someone trying to hold the country to ransom and there's soldiers, cops, firemen, FBI etc all running around in different directions trying to look busy. Lots of VERY badly OTT scenes that make James Bond look very real.

Your score and your comment don't match.

planet terror 6/10 silly but ok
death proof 4/10 kurt russell was cool but way too much dialogue and i hate the dialogue he writes for black people.

i think ill like them more if they were shorter and back to back, like they were originally released.

    Being John Malkovich.

Ended up FINALLY seeing this after years of seeing either the very start and missing the rest of the film, or seeing the very end.

    Not bad actually...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: 5 out of 10

So incredibly long, and so very little of any real sit-up-and-go-WOW factor actually happens. And did I mention it was LONG?

The last couple have been much more exciting to watch, particularly the Alfonso Cuaron one. Apparently the same guy that did this one is signed up for the next one though. Hope the script is a bit better.
