Someone appears to have opened the valve on the 'drivel tank' as far as the DS is concerned this week, although we do see the return of the 'too amusingly named not to be a porn star' Pippa Funnell, so it's not without a small modicum of entertainment. Elsewhere there's a certain PGR4 for the 360, Folklore and Skate for the PS3, and... er... some more drivel. I can't comment on the PC section 'cos I seriously don't have a clue what ANY of those are aside from Civ 4 and Spidey. Don't buy Spidey, btw.

    PLAYSTATION 3
    Folklore
    NBA Live 08
    Skate

    XBOX 360
    Crash of the Titans
    Project Gotham Racing 4
    Spiderman - Friend or Foe

    WII
    Crash of the Titans
    Spiderman - Friend or Foe

    PLAYSTATION 2
    Crash of the Titans
    NHL 08
    Spiderman - Friend or Foe

    PC GAMES
Heroes V - Tribes of the East Expansion Pack
    Race 07
    Rail Simulator
    Sid Meiers Civilisation 4 Complete
    Spiderman - Friend or Foe

    DS
    Chronos Twins
    Dogz 2
    Dolphin Island
    Donkey Kong Jungle Climber
    Fashion Designer
    Pet Vet
Pippa Funnell 2 - Farm Adventures
    Real Football
    Spiderman - Friend or Foe

    PSP
    Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron

    Next Week:
The Orange Box for 360 and PC and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS are your main hitters, although there's also Eternal Sonata for the 360, Tabula Rasa for the PC and Table Tennis for the Wii thrown into the mix. Just for fun, like.

Eternal Sonata looks to be the best JRPG for years.

Orange Box for me next week, and that'll be the last I buy in the run up to Christmas.
I will buy ES eventually, but I can't play it before I clear some of the backlog. Altough I may buy it on release day regardless in a show of support for JRPGs on 360.

PGR4 and ES next week. Glad I asked for vouchers for my b'day last week.

Too many good games... My back log is getting larger and larger... :(

Edit: On 360 I should state.

Got to finish off Oblivion and EDF, got to start Bioshock and Overlord, there's always Halo, then there's Orange Box and Eternal Sonata on the way, Mass Effect is on the Horizon, and Puzzle Quest and Speedball 2 (soon) on XBLA... Cripes.

Nothing for me this week. I must put some more effort into getting Super Paper Mario finished before my Metroid pre-order arrives...

Very tempted to get the Orange Box next week, but again, I really should finish Bioshock first...

Good god you've still got Oblivion to go. You're never going to get through all that Lutz.
I know. Only done abotu 40% of what I want to do too.

It's a nightmare. Seriously, Bioshock, Overlord, ME and ES are gonna have to wait till next year.

Oblivion, XBLA, Halo 3, EDF and Orange box this year I think.

It's the best looking game on 360 after Viva Pinata, that's for sure! No idea about the actual game though.

And worse, Advance Wars DS 2 is on way. There goes another 2/3 hundred hours gaming.

    :(

I need to clone me to send me to work.

Tsk, you said you had too much money, I think really you owe me the box, after all the hardship you've caused me over the past year.

I enjoyed the demo muchly. The game has a great innocent charm, the same charm that Chrono Trigger and Tales of Symphonia have, which are also two of the best JRPG's ever made.

I'd normally snap up a new PGR, but I think I'll wait for the forumite opinions to roll in.

    Nothing this week, phew....

But next week I am looking at a hat trick, Orange Box, Eternal Sonata and Zelda. Time to get rid of Halo me thinks.

I'm still not finished with PGR3, so PGR4 goes on the Christmas list.

PGR4 is much, much better than the demo would suggest. I think they chose some really awkward cars - Well, apart from the Lambo.

Also, the Quebec tracks are really reminiscent (sp?) of Edinburgh in PGR2. Seriously, I was very 'meh' about the demo but the full game is fantastic.
  • Deleted user 12 October 2007 09:17:16
Christ I love the demo, can't fucking wait to get home now!
