Oohhh, thank you for reminding me Mr. Boo!

I predict words along the lines of, 'it is so fake, scripted and staged now ... not as good as it used to be' once the new episode has finished.

Anybody know what the bit of music was that playing as the Pagani Hyuara (sp?) film finished?

I thoroughly enjoyed it, apart from Hammond still being there.

Enjoyed it all apart from the last bit, with the Dragon's Den. Wasn't needed, didn't add anything. The rest was good though. Even SIARPC.

Meh, it was okay. Clarkson's segment at the end was predictable and boring, and SiaRPC was predictably dull, but other than that it was nice to have back.

No idea what that music is, Boo. Sounded a bit MGMT-ish, but I don't recognise the track.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

I thoroughly enjoyed it apart from every section of it.

I enjoyed the first half but SIRPC I still think for the most part is unnecessary filler material, you get the odd good interview in there but this wasn't really one of them. Clarksons bit, well I thought it was ok to start off with and I did laugh a few times but it felt like it was 5 minutes to long.

The Dragons Den bit made me cringe so bad. Uhh, why can't they learn to tone it down?

What stupid director thought it was a good idea to make the Dragons try to do it straight faced. I mean the idea was stupid anyway, but that just made it worse, which is in a way quite impressive.

I was wondering that too, I know I've heard it a couple of times before but can't place it. I'll post results of shazam if it can get it

P45 thing went on far too long.
    Bentley rally was good.

There's a forum for that (no really, there is).
    http://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear-episode-songs/

They haven't got this episode yet but give it a day or so.

Episode was alright, I always prefer the adventure episodes where it's a whole episode of them buying some shit cars and doing challenges or the race ones.

I admit the Dragons' Den thing was a bit too much, I'd have rather watched another five minutes of Clarkson smacking his face on the windscreen/visor. I found that genuinely funny.

Hammond and May are looking ancient. I think Clarkson looked broken from birth so he sort of gets away with it.

I don't know what it is about the new Pagani but I think it looks awful(and I liked the Zonda).

The chaps over at the finalgear forums have tracked down the music that closed the Pagani film.

It was All Eyes by Post War Years.

Edit - the video gives me the creeps.

They've done the usual, and picked out the tiny bit of a track that's excellent.
Although it may be a grower, I'm not sure. Would definitely prefer an instrumental version.

@BillMurray. Yes indeed. As soon as I saw it last night, I thought 'Might be totally awesome on paper and incredible to drive, but by God it's ugly'.

Mind you. If you can spend 800k on a car, you probably don't care what anybody else thinks...

The problem is that its been so long since there has been a new episode, the only thing people have had to watch are ten year old repeats on dave.

One minute you are watching an episode about a V8 Rover and BAM time shift to 2013 and they look like they have just come off a really hard paper round.

I prefer it when they have challenges together, this week they all did things separately which I don't like as much

Yep, I completely agree. Was a good episode IMO - the pagani is fucking nuts, the star was okay, and the end bit was pretty decent (except for the Dragon's Den, which was embarrassing)

Liked the rallying and icy lap. Rest was pretty rubbish. They could do a lot better. Wish they would stop using the fake lol script.

Rallying was good the rest was Top Gear as usual, fine but nothing special. I really think i'm getting bored of the current format now.

It was part two of the Beebs Legends of Speed documentary but for some reason they completely ignored it over christmas and just shat it out last night on it's own.

Is it because of the helicopter crash?

My guess is that it was to avoid giving the BBC hating Daily Mail more ammo.

After the Savile tribute last Christmas, "BBC Shows Children's Helicopter Death Crash at Xmas" just writes itself.
