That made me think of Eugene Tooms for some reason. All in the secreting.

I don't think Frankie is quite as... stretchy.

Also, he probably doesn't eat human livers.

    Probably.

I may have to make an open apology on the waypoint forum about the fact I don't think Foward Unto Dawn is anywhere near as horrible as I expected it to be.

Yeah, I thought it would be terrible but actually surprisingly okay, bit like a watered down Battlestar Gallactica. Could see them making a TV series in the future instead of a film.

Though, wait until MC turns up. That was one of the worst parts in the trailer.

Yeah, why does his suit look so... Dr Who?

I couldn't resist, had a peak at the intro cinematic. Awesome. Like the Halo you've always wanted to see. Just a brief history lesson.

There if you want to see it.

    Will be going dark now.

    Tap X? No thank you.

Why not? Oh, are you one of those Halo fan's who is ultra sensitive to 343i's harmless concessions to newcomers and their updating of the franchise; moving away very slightly from the exact same template we've had for last ten years?

    Blegh.

Halo 4 is the prime reason my dusty xbox slim is still sitting on my gaming table. Soon be dusting.

But are you honestly suggesting that implementing QTEs is a change for the better? All they do is take control from the hands of the player, when historically Halo has always been about leaving total control in the hands of the player in a relatively large but linear environment.

Just because we might not like the inclusion of QTEs doesn't mean we're not open to 343 bringing in meaningful new gameplay ideas.

What I'm saying is in reality the QTEs are a minute addition to the overall campaign sweep and are likely to be entirely forgotten about almost as quickly as it took to execute them. They will be insignificant in the greater scheme of the gameplay experience, but they do allow idiot players to go Ooo, ahhh... at relatively little expense. It's harmless fluff, that all.

I maintain that the only people complaining about them turning up in Halo are the ultra sensitive fans suffering from acute elevated gaming importance syndrome. Nobody else really gives a shit, people with other things filling their day, life and stuff, putting the kids to bed and tidying up the living room.

Can't wait for Halo 4, but wish they didn't keep Armour Abilities in it =( They're so stupid!! I'll probably just play the classic playlists to be honest.

It's out to the torrent sites for people with modded 360s. It is in fact everywhere. They're doing a great job of getting videos taken down though.

EDIT: Ending is out, and on Mediafire. Normal AND legendary extra. Up on /v/

So if people are playing it already what's the word on the web? Is it good?

Erm... I watched the first minute to check it wasn't someone being a dick. It is real, so I stopped there as it spoils the gameplay. Legendary ending (bonus scene unrelated to gameplay) is brilliant (there's a real squee moment to end on) but makes no sense out of context.

Word on the web is very, very positive, with caveats.

I'm only interested in having an early sample of the first mission and checking out the multiplayer maps when I see it later. Other then that I want to save myself for Day 1.

Going dark, Quint over and out.

I'm quite enjoying Forward Unto Dawn so far. The nice focus on the characters rather than the setting was a wise decision.

I'm with Quint though, I think it's time to go dark on this and stay out of this thread just in case. Not that I'm actually that fussy on spoilers for this, but I'd prefer to avoid them. Most of the people here have been nice enough to tag them and clearly indicate them when linked of course, but all it takes is one person to get a bit rat arsed and post happy :p

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

Before I go, where did you read these? Can you give some examples of reaction without revealing spoilers? I'm very keen to find out how people are responding to it. Cheers.

Yeah, um, I have no plans to discuss what I done saw. Because, well, it's a game, and the ending is the summation of the game, and it makes no sense without the game. And, well, it didn't, because I haven't, and now I really want to.

EDIT: people are posting spoilers EVERYWHERE (someone just posted on the IGN Facebook post about the leak). Fair warning guys.
