    Holy shit, Sly for 11 is an incredible bargain. Other than that, not much of note.
    ... even at 20, it felt like a bargain!

    Do yourselves a favour guys and buy Sly Cooper as soon as possible. It is such a charmingly great game.

    Oh, is Motorstorm 3D Rift in 3D only, or is it just added in the games title for effect?

    Just to add that Sly4 for a tenner (you get both PS3 and Vita versions) is great value. A properly good game.

    Tempted to get the Vita version of Sly since it's a little cheaper and I am highly unlikely to play it on the PS3.

    Then again, although I liked the demo, I do have other games to play...

    PSN ID: finn1

    It's showing up as 8.09 on vita and 19.99 on ps3 on my store :S

    So the vita version isn't cross-buy the other way?

    Yep, you need to buy PS3 to get the cross-buy. Try the web store, the prices are correct. Sly is 21.6GB on PS3, so sod that, I'll wait for the boxed version to come down.

    Has anyone tried Cloudberry Kingdom? It looks insane on the trailer, but I suspect the game might be too difficult for me. There doesn't seem to be a demo, so I'm reluctant to buy it untried.

    Edge gave it an average review. I like challenging platformers, but that looks way too haphazard and manic to be any fun imo.

    If you do not like your emotional core being exposed, please do not buy it.

    ... it is only a majestic experience for those with tender hearts.

    Like mine.

    Aaaannndddd how long it took me to turn up!

    Journey is about as emotional as cooking breakfast.

    I'd love to grab Sly for that price, but I fear it'll be cheaper on disc by the time it squeezes down my connection. Digital future FTL.

    Not really, as I know that's a physical rather than emotional response, and the pay off is I enjoy onions, unlike Journey.

    @elhozzo

    Bought this morning and played through this afternoon with surround on etc as music etc great. Literally speechless after completing it. An incredible game for the price of a pint. Truly incredible!

    Got Beyond Good & Evil as well for 3/4. Hear its good and a sequel is on the cards?

    @markyHD

    Beyond Good & Evil is indeed great (and great price), the sequel ... hmm, it was one of the reasons I got a PS3 back in 2008 instead of a Wii .... (my fave gamecube games were resident evil 4 and BG&E ... so I wanted a console that would play the sequel's, and moved from Nintendo. Don't regret the decision at all, but the reasons to do it didn't really work out, since the RE4 sequels were crap, and still waiting on BG&E sequel...)

    Is BioShock Infinite, visuals and performance wise, comparable to the Xbox 360 version, or is quite a lesser port like the original BioShock?

    That could be the question to sell my Xbox 360 as I am only holding onto it because of the season pass attached to my game, which I'd happily pay for (again) once the story DLC is available later this year.

    I played it on 360, but I'm pretty sure DF did a piece saying they were pretty much the same. I think it was only 1 (and, to a lesser extent 2) that suffered.

    ... really?!

    I'll have a look for this article you speak of because if what you say is true, I can fondly wave goodbye to my Xbox 360.

    from df's summing up -

    "The more responsive PS3 game gets the nod for delivering a more consistent, flowing gameplay experience and its deficit in terms of rendering resolution is really difficult to pick up on bearing in mind how strong the FXAA blur is on both platforms. The addition of tearing isn't particularly attractive, but the extra controller response is preferable during intense combat scenes. Alternatively, those especially susceptible to screen-tear may prefer the 360 version, despite it featuring heavier dips in performance in more demanding scenes."

    so yeh, pretty even

    I've just read the face-off, and PS3 got the nod for performance/frame rate, with the caveat of screen tearing.
