Couldn't find a thread for any GAA sports, whether that means there is no one or the charming Eurogamer search engine failed again I dunno.. Bit late in the championship now but lets use this thread for Gaelic Football and Hurling

Anyone watching the Dublin - Kerry semi-final today? Throw in at 3.30pm but knowing what cunts some Dublin 'fans' are, expect a delay of that.

Got 9-1 on Dublin winning by more than 4 points and seeing as we (Ballyfermot De La Salle) lost to Ballyboden this morning, I need Dublin to win today.

Yea will be watching ... could have went the auld chap had spare tickets decided I couldn't be arsed will wait for, hopefully, the Cork Kerry final.
Don't have a problem with the team (with a few horrible knacker wanker exceptions) some of the fans though are a thing to behold. I wonder will they make it in on time today or will they be too busy watching the Soccer.

Anyhew good luck to Kerry today don't see them winning it I reckon Dublin are too good for them.

turned down a ticket myself. 30 for the hill is fucking scandalous really. Usually 15-20euro but just because its Kerry vs Dublin they jack up the price. 45 for the stands too. I wouldnt mind if the players got paid but its just money straight to the GAA.

Dublin are considered underdogs at the moment, probably due to the fact they're bottlers on the big stage.. but i feel they really need to win the Sam this year..

Dont get me started on some of the fans, I'm from Dublin and it drives me crazy. The Hill is usually about 30% dirty fucking knackers who sneek-in cans and vodka and start football chants and 13 yr girls there on a little day out. The rest is usually actually GAA fans though

I know it's a minority but I thought their behaviour after the Laois minors won the Leinster and did their lap of honour was deplorable. What a shower of tossers.

Yeah.. Used to be the only 'fans' to boo when someone is going for a free-kick.. seems to be spreading a bit more now thou..sadly!

Watching the minor-final? Derry's minors are good from what i've seen this year.

Ye have had some good minors for the last while.. add a bit of muscle to your senior team and you'd be up there challenging i reckon

over now.. but at least they gave it a go..been a decent game

Think Gaelic Football would be popular abroad? I just think its a terrific sport. Doubt it will ever spread past Ireland and parts of Australia and America

Is Kingston the big fecker who scored the equalising point? If so, cracking player. Really powerful running on the ball

Yup that's him ... can't wait for both himself and Tohey to get to senior. Big powerful men who know how to score.

Have to say that as a neutral (Limerick man) I would prefer someone other than Kerry in the final.

And what a comeback by Laois!

    ah for fuck's sake..

one thing i love about Gaelic, usually the best team win.. and i'd say the same about today. Dublin started off too slowly in each half and just made more mistakes than Kerry. Dublin could've won if they had taken their scores better.

I can't believe Ray Cosgrave continues to get selected.. i dont know what he's main attribute is.. he's not fast, or strong target man, or a great finisher or a good runner with the ball... drives me mental.

Accepted your invite to the group!

Great game ... really thought Dublin were going to do it at the end. But The Gooch was just too much for them. What a player.

Yeah it was an amazing game by the Gooch. Still I don't know how Cosgrove missed that chance for goal. It went out at the corner flag!

Yeah i thought Dublin were gonna sneek the draw at the end but twasn't to be. I think this year was our best chance of winning the Sam. I'd say Kerry are huge favourites for the championship now. Cork haven't looked that good all season really, but ya never know with these types of rivalries

    This whole forum is dumb.

I make an athletics thread, and no one watches. Yet a gaelic thread gets 24 hits?

I thought they would all be lickered-up and fighting leprachauns.

Still. Weren't they any Irish athletes at the games? I heared the only irish marathon runner at the world championship got arrested during the race for drink-running.

He was seen staggering all over the place during the race, with a pint in his hand and swearing at the japanesse for hiding the pot of gold.
