I think they might need a new booking agent after this.

As I only live a 15 minute drive from the venue I shall be offering Mr Cavalera a pint of surrey's finest ale and discuss possible sepultura reunions.

@OllyJ I'm jealous. I'd really like to be excited about the prospect of a new Priest album (I can't believe it's been 6 years since Nostradamus) but this doesn't do much for me at the mo. It sounds like they want to release something that's more 'classic' Priest but I guess that's to be expected. Maybe some persistence with this track will pay off then. I hope so :).

@Beetroot_Bertie I did like Nostradamus, even if it was a lot of filler.

This track is just so full of subtlety, it's weirdly uplifting, some great guitar work, decent vocals from Halford. I was expecting something a bit more brash for sure, but yeah I think this is a great track.

    It's not bad I reckon.

I'll be releasing a single in about 2 weeks (at last!).

Deciding NOT to mix my own stuff was the best decision I ever made!

It'll feature Kevin Talley (Suffocation, 6ft Under, Chimaira and Dying Fetus) on drums.

I ordered the album, only CD I'll buy this year other than Anathema - Distant Satellites I reckon.

    Is it any good?

I didn't give it the attention it deserved as I only listened to it while at work, and only got through about 4 tracks or so. I wouldn't really want to commit to any kind of judgement without giving it a proper listen, but while nothing jumped out and made me stop and listen, I liked what I heard. It sounded like good Agalloch again.

I will say the production is thankfully much better than Marrow, and it sounds like the drummer may have invested in a metronome, which is a bonus.

Cool, I've heard 2 tracks and thought it sounded great, but need to wait till I get it home, stereo on, coffee. Make it special.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but this slipped under my radar. Ex morbid angel vocalist and bassist (imo better than Vincent!)

Ok....what is everyone's favourite Morbid Angel album?

For me, it's Covenant. Without a doubt.

Altars Of Madness and Domination for me, then again, they're far from my favourite band.

Always thought Sandoval was a pretty boring drummer for a band with such chaotic guitar playing (I do love Terrorizer's World Downfall, probably the best thing he ever played on and his straight forward style suits that better).

Saw that ETID album had appeared on spotify... then I clicked on it to discover it's only one track and it seems to be rather shite quality.

Anyone been paying attention to Killer Be Killed. Just been listening to some of their album.

    Pros:
    Greg Puciato's vocals

    Cons:
    Troy Sanders' vocals

Need more time before I can come up with any more detailed analysis than that :p

Weird, I prefer Troy's vocals over Gregs. The album is alright. Nothing special, was expecting alot more considering the talent.

I do have a lot of time for the latter, but the material he sings in sounds too... like it's the only thing he can sing over.
