It'll be shit but fuck it, DINOSAURS.

Surprised they've announced it now, to be honest. I thought they'd wait and see how well the 3D re-release of JP1 does. It's not like they need to hype up the original with talk of a new sequel.

Part of me is *sigh* But then I love big stompy dinosaurs, I even liked Lost world and 3. Not sure where they could go with another one though. We've had the fall of the park, a second secret island with a T-Rex running around a city, tourists lost on one of the islands. Where now?

To be honest, I like the concept.

I'm not expecting anything massively original though - most like a sort of post-apocalyptic world setting with Dinosaurs instead of zombies.

It doesn't really make any sense but that sounds fucking amazing
  • Deleted user 12 September 2013 08:49:25
I read something else about it that seemed to be suggesting that "Jurassic World" was just the name of a new park, as in Disney World, so perhaps not quite the World War Dino that you think it might be from the title. In fact there's even been suggestions it's a reboot.

Summer 2015 is ridiculous for blockbusters with this, Superman and Batman, and Star Wars.

I hope thats true because for WWD to happen, they would have to spin a tale of purest bullshit.

    'The raptors...they got smart..'

'Smarter than unmanned drones, biological weapons and rail guns?'

I'm just glad they didn't go with human-dino hybrids as they had planned.

As for WWD, I'm sure they could do something like a nuclear fallout etc causing society to shut down and, erm, raptors to break free. Although it sounds terrible.

If it does happen they might as well just call it "Rise of the Planet of the Dinosaurs".

With those writers on board, it may not be too far off the mark!

Minor images starting to emerge - nothing much in the first, but spoilers in the second, which is the island map describing the dinosaur attractions:

I will be interested in how they explain the business decision to re-open a park that got closed due to dinosaurs eating everyone.
